Super Lemonade Factory is a game I made a while ago. It came out on iOS first, then Steam and OUYA. And now I want to bring it the Pico-8.
I've only just started.
The first challenge is that the sprites are bigger than 8x8. I've got the basics down of combining sprites.
If you want to join in the github repo is here:

The codes a mess, but expect it to become fleshed out as we go, and if you've got ideas that might help, join in!
Controls are the same as in Fair Winds. Left/right to steer, z/x to control the sail rope. More sailing tips below.
Fair Winds was made for the 24 hour Midwest Game Jam. The theme for that jam was tropical. Since that jam happened during p8jam1, I figured it was fine to work on it a bit more and do the p8 jam too.
So I added inclement weather and changed up the route. I still want to add multiple routes and a really simple "learn to sail" tutorial route.
General Sailing tips:
Sailing with the wind is easy enough, just let the sail out all the way. You can get the most power this way, but you can't sail faster than the wind.
To sail perpendicular to the wind pull the sail in to about a 45 degree angle. This will give you a lot of power for acceleration. Then you can pull the sail in even more to trade power for speed. It's sort of like gears on a car, and you can sail much faster than the speed of the wind this way.
Lastly, you can't sail directly against the wind, but you can still sail well up to 45 degrees of the wind if you pull the sail in close. Then just zigzag back and forth across the wind. This is called tacking.

Instructions:
Player 1 - Arrow keys
Player 2 - ESDF
Splash more puddles than your opponent before time runs out.
I think I'll have to call it done for now. But it's playable and there's a win condition, so I'm pretty happy.
Changes:
-Draw order is fixed
-Timer and win condition
-Puddles don't refill when player is standing on them
Changes:
-Rain and SFX
-Collision with playground equipment is working
Still need to work on draw order for the sprites.

WIP for P8JAM1 "Rain"
My first real attempt at a platformer.
Currently struggling with the buoyancy, and still need to add water pressure but it's starting to come together.
Hope is to make an interesting puzzle platformer utilising the rising water and flow mechanics.
Switches to toggle floodgates and things.
Rescue the kitty from the rain!

Old version:
It's a confetti factory simulation! (This is shamelessly inspired by an old AfterDark screensaver that I recall.)
Hit 'Z' to open or close valves.
Hit 'X' to change direction of conveyors.
Try to get the confetti into the correctly colored out bin in order to advance to the next level. Mixed confetti will reduce your score because it's really hard to sort after the fact.

Resource management simulator made for p8jam1.
Collect rainwater in tanks to water crops with, which speeds up the process of growing, or instead just let the rain water the crops.
There isn't really any goal other than trying not to run out of money/crops.
1.0.1
- can no longer dig while in title screen
- can no longer plant on tank
- updated error messages to be more informative
- tank level is now reset when tile is recycled

RANDOM 2022 UPDATE:
Fixed: The intro graphic's wasn't drawing with transparency.
::INSTRUCTIONS::
-This is a LOCAL MULTIPLAYER GAME so find a friend and force them to play it with you. :y
-It contains FIVE MAPS
-All maps have the same purpose: Get the BALL into the opponent's NET
-First to 5 points wins
::CONTROLS::
Player 1 chooses the map, either button starts a round, up/down arrows let the players choose their team color.
In-game: Arrows to move around
- Either button fires a power-shot when the ball is inside the ring around your player
PICO-8's default keys are:
Player 1:
MOVEMENT: Arrow Keys
BUTTONS: Z, X or N, M (any of these will fire a shot)
Player 2:
MOVEMENT: E,S,D,F
BUTTONS: Shift, A, or Tab,Q
...I wish it were WASD but what're you gonna do? Answer: I recommend plugging in game controllers instead. -_-;

If you got ideas for challenges please share them here. I only came up with those 6 and they are mostly pretty same-y. They don't need to be super hard, I'm not looking to make an impossible game. :P
Controls:
arrows -> move and aim
z -> shoot
x -> lock aim to current direction
x (tap quickly) -> jump
Changes for 0.4.1
- added challenges
- menu updated
- minor fixes
Help:
Pickup the gray boxes for randomly generated weapons. There are no ammo refills.
Weapons' properties can be determined by looking a the gun's barrel(s). See if you can figure it out.
Enemies can be killed by pushing them into the spikes or by shooting them three times.
Old stuff:

Here's my generic "Look everyone! I made raindrops!" cart, since the theme is rain.
If it sounds absolutely horrible, don't use the web player. The web player skips frames, which does not bode well when the raindrops themselves are playing the music.
If it still sounds absolutely horrible, I'm sorry for being terrible at music. I will try harder next time.

1.0 Final version for p8jam1
added spark deathh effect+sfx
lots of tweaking on hero/cloud collisions
