Nessie Nom Mom!
Game developed by TofiToffee
It's that final day, Nessie must survive 10 waves and a boss wave, before finally heading to shore and laying her egg. Try not to get overwhelmed by sharks or any other sea monster in sight, but, a pacifist creature that she is, you can't attack them directly, you must trick them into eating each other. Good luck!
Tips:
- There is a rare chance enemies might drop a red orb, take it! It restores a single health point.
- You can always continue from the wave you died on, but you will not keep your score.
- On wave 11, the final boss, you must make the water serpent eat its own tail.
- The fish meter at the bottom is a bar of when you can use your wave "attack" to push enemies away from you, fills up as you eat food.
Controls:
- Arrow keys - Move
- X - Use wave pushing attack (when the bar is full)
- Z - Used for some menus

Bouncy Bloob
Puzzle platformer inspired by the Commodore 64 game "Blob" where a bouncy blob hops across boards made of tiles with different number of jumps allowed. Clear levels by hitting tiles, use teleport to traverse, and beat your best times.

Tips
- Learn optimal routes - small improvements save seconds
- Minimize air time by timing jumps to the bounce peak
- Use teleports strategically to skip sections
Release notes
(v1.2)
- The size of the ball has been increased, and a few visual effects have been added.
(v1.1)
- Fixed level 15: redesigned the level layout and tile interactions so the level can be completed (previously the design made it impossible to finish).

Ridge Runner 🥕⛏️
A tiny idle/incremental game about shanking zombie wolves with carrots, and hoarding gold like a very determined goblin.
Watch your little bun auto-battle through endless waves, or take a break from fighting to bonk rocks in the mines. Hire miners to make money while you do literally nothing. Upgrade your stats until the numbers get silly, then prestige and do it all over again.
How far can you run the ridge?
A personal milestone:
This is my first completed game. I've spent 20 years fascinated by game development - reading, learning, and tinkering, without ever actually finishing something. This little cart is me finally breaking that cycle. It's not going to blow anyone's mind, but it's done, it's mine, and I'm proud of it. My goal was simply to complete something, and I did. Hoping to keep making these little games and getting better with each one.

My first PICO-8 game! My brothers and I got ourselves TrimUI Bricks, so we decided to make each other video games for Christmas. The difficulty is kinda tuned for mu brothers, so it's pretty challenging. I'd like to make difficulty settings in the future, but I'll probably just move on to another project.
Thanks for playing!

Merry Christmas and Happy Decemberween everyone!
Here's my cartridge for this year's Advent Calendar, a collection of 31 holiday themed games packaged in an adorable menu cartridge. For the full experience, you can open each advent box here, or load #advent2025 from inside PICO-8.
Thanks to @kevinthompson and @bikibird for organising the jam and wrangling so many elves, and to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable event.
How To Play
Aim your cannon with LEFT / RIGHT, and hold [O] / Z for fine adjustments.
The goal is to collect all of the gems in each room as efficiently as possible. Or alternatively, to just have fun hurling elves out of a cannon (don't worry -- they like it). Be careful not to run out of elves! They became your final score at the end of the game.

You've a mission to accomplish. Work your way through unknown dangers in caves, forests, and ruins with a sword as your only companion. Reach your objective, and engage in an epic clash against the viciousness terrorizing your homeland, barely contained by 128x128 pixels.
Known Issues!
- Slopes, aren't. Longterm fix. Sorry for the frustration.
- Remaining enemies transport between rooms when player transitions.
- Player can be damaged during ground-stomp in mid-air.
- Ground stomping on one-way platforms takes you all. the. way. down.

You're at a city council meeting trying to get a subway station approved. NIMBYs on the left, transit nerds on the right. Balance their energy. Survive the vote. Build the line.
Each round you survive adds another station to your growing metro system. Can you build all 100 stations and complete the network?

Get all elves home, so they can deliver their presents.
Controls:
- move with arrow keys
- jump with x
- crouch with down
- air-kick (after level 5-2) with up + c
- throw the snowballs with c
About:
A game for Christmas, have fun.
You can change the messages to make it a family gift.
If you played my other games, the controls are similar, so coyote frames are massive, there is a hidden roll input and a "perfect" jump.
Merry Christmas!
You were born a tiny snowflake
flying on the wind,
drifting down into
the peaceful valley below.
Snowdrifts
Snowdrifts is my entry in the 2025 PICO-8 Advent Calendar. Showcasing some novel rendering techniques, Snowdrifts is a game in which you embody a snowball: rolling, growing and collecting candy canes.
Huge thanks to @Doriencey for creating the label and to @bikibird and @kevinthompson for hosting the Advent Calendar and doing so much work to make it possible, as well as the rest of the folks in the Advent Calendar community for helping make this a reality.
Thanks to 2darray for aacirc(), Mot for isnearer(), Sim for the dither table, FReDs72 for general 3D knowledge, and zep for creating PICO-8!
This was the first game I ever made, way back in 2023. It's based on the terrible old Rankin/Bass stop motion cartoon "The Leprechauns' Christmas Gold," possibly the only Christmas special I can think of with an anti-charity message. Honestly, this barely qualifies as a game and you can beat it in 3 seconds. Enjoy. Ho-ho-ho.
