About the Advent Calendar
This year's Advent Calendar was organized by @kevinthompson and @bikibird. The menu cart was coded by @bikibird with art by @Doriencey and music by @shadowphiar. Special thanks to @TRASEVOL_DOG for the tquad function and a big thank you to my fellow elves for all the suggestions and debugging help.

Loving it already, the cat-astrophe is super fun, and looking towards for the rest. One of the best time of the year for us PICO-8 fans!
If anyone can confirm to me what is the max points in cat game is, would love to hear it. Tried to grab the top piece and not sure if possible (like if it is implemented or not)
Super glad y'all brought it back again, it is an amazing tradition. Sadly could not contribute this year, hopefully in the next!

@Achie72 Looks like there's 36 ornaments to knock off, and the maximum height is 200cm. Sadly you can't knock off the very top ornament :<
The "Damage" number is just 1,000,000 + 10/ornament, so the top score is 1000360.
Also there is an Easter egg for good kitties :)

The cat wiggle animation is so realistic. Love the games so far.
That grey out effect when you flip through the games is great.
This is very fun so far! Can't wait for more stuff to show up.
@cat-8 Sorry, but this year's calendar is full to bursting and there isn't room for new entries. We'd be happy to have you join us next year. Look for an announcement in late September/early October. Feel free to release your game outside of the calendar this year or hold it for the calendar next year.

I think I broke Santa sleigh though the score overflows and goes from 32768 to -32768 and climbs back to zéro
A Part of me is tempted to make my own Collection titled "Action December 26".
The other Part knows it's naughty to have a second, worse Advent Calendar run alongside the actual "Pico‑8 Advent Calendar 2026".
Pico on a webpage feels like a tech demo at best I need to play day 10 grinch on a handheld 30 minutes later after opening in browser ARG BUT IF IT GET THE EGG SIZE UP IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I..... thanks for making a game that sucked me right in for a moment.
This advent calendar is really fun! But you should know that there's some sort of corruption going on when you load day 18 and then return to the advent calendar.
Oh no, ran out of memory olaying snowdrifts! And I was doing so well...
@kozm0naut I was about 40 candy canes in, I'd got 2 speed boosts and both compass/map upgrades. Just cruisng round highlighting all the map when the game stopped and said "out of memory"
@User01 the developer is still working on it. Could be a while, but it'll get published eventually
@User01, I think the dev @SmellyFishstiks is fixing a few bugs and once those are cleaned up they will publish a post with the update. Once that happens, I will update their credit.
@shadowphiar you have got to upload that music somewhere. My brother gifted me pico-8 for Christmas and the Advent calendar was the first thing I played. We both had this menu music stuck in our head the whole week 😅
I have updated STAR SPLORE...
I even added a collections category, which is mostly populated by advent calendars. I hope it leads to more people discovering these awesome carts!
