I was wondering if it is possible to somehow access the Alpha Cartridges and start learning the editor via swap modding and improving those games, specifically the Arena 2P. (To start, I would like to make it a co-op shooter rather than a competitive shooter, by first adding a combined score display in between the two individual scores currently displayed. After that, whatever becomes possible.)
So, can we access the Alpha Cartridges, or only the BBS Cartridges?
If not, would you (Zep) consider Up-ing your Alpha Cartridges to BBS so that we could all download and mod them (and in doing so, learn the engine)?
Cheers! (Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this game and couldn't get back to sleep).

Hello mates!
today I installed Voxatron on a Linux distribution (openSUSE) using the newest Humble Bundle link for a .tar.gz file.
The problem appears when I try to move around the main menu, it's like it's always pressing the up arrow, but I'm not doing that.
I installed the file using fisrt
cd Desktop |
to go to the directory and then
su |
for superuser and then
yast2 -i "the file" |
to install the package
I appreciate a lot you help! Thanks!
EDIT 1: Tried playing on the editor and appears the same problem on the game and on the pause menu.

I found a bug when using small rooms,
For some reason the props don't appear only the player does.
as you can see i have placed some props in a 40x40x64 room and then i tested it
Here is a very bad picture of the game but as you can see the props are missing from the room
I haven't completely tested it but i know props don't appear.
I don't see that big of a problem just that you can't make small rooms anymore without having them empty

Title: tiny chase
Version: Final+
Type: other
Difficulty: 2.5/5
its a simple game, about a tiny car looking for coins while is chased by tiny cops.
there are 2 maps:
suburbs: easier and simpler
circuit: harder but with more stuff to play with
road not taken: this dark road is similar to the circuit, but harder, be careful with the yellow squares!
tiny circuit: the simplest and most tiny map
water temple: a water map of course!
thanks for playing and enjoy!
also, a tiny preview:
update! tweaked the controls for better movement, added maps and tweaked sounds
if you don't like the two normal controls you may try using the "jkli" keys + shoot to a different style, it allows for an easier control by directly looking at where you need to go.
now you can also play forever, increasing the number of cars by 1 per minute.

New:
- Added opening cut scene.
- Added "Levels Missing" screen.
- Changed main character head/hat art for story reasons.
NOTE:
- As far as I can tell, Voxatron 2.13 changed the way bullets interact with voxels, which could break the player progression. I will see if I can figure this out for the next update.
- The man in the opening cut scene is the main character, but in a different outfit.
- I haven't built any new gameplay content for this version.
The opening cut scene won't make any sense yet because the Chapter 1 levels have not been built yet. Chapter 1 is temporarily replaced by a "Levels Missing" screen. The levels I released in the past are actually from Chapter 2 of the storyline.
- I am planning on working on Chapter 1 levels for the next update.

Hey All
Just a quick demo of fancy doors and room goals.
Note that you need to collect the gold key to allow the gold door to open.
You can take preview images like the one shown here in-game using F7

Hey All
Voxatron 0.2.13 builds are now up, and will shortly be up on Humble Store (check the version number in the filename). If you don't have a lexaloffle account (Games > My Games) and would like one, you can activate it from your humble store page (see this thread). To update from a Humble Store account, search your email for the download page link, or request a new one here.
The main two changes in 0.2.13 are much more flexible player control options, and moving to SDL2.
Player Controls
The default player control style is now analogue, which means that you can run and shoot in any direction! This will eventually be an optional property of players, but for now I decided it doesn't badly break the design of any existing cartridges so set it as default. This means the mouse control style can be more natural -- using ASDW + the cursor as an absolute point to shoot at.

I made 3 weapons, each one with its diferent gameplay, but since I still don't have any use for them, I thought it was interesting to disponibilize them here, please use it in any project you'd like, I would love to see it in action:
the spear
the spear is excatly that, a spear which you trow at the monsters, however, when you use it you have to pick it up again to use it once more, it would be great for puzzle games like pressing the button on the map. I couldn't, however, manage to make the trowing distance controlable.
the odd sword
this is a completely different gameplay from the normal sword, this is how it works:
your sword attacks when you collide the character front, for a better gameplay, the mob must also have the modifier used on the map for a nice knockback, is doesn't, however, protects the sides or back but it makes you invincible to bullets when you press shoot.
