Excavate the temple of a lost civilization. Fill each well to receive an ancient scroll. Learn the most sacred of all songs: the Raven's Rood.

This is an implementation of the solitaire game Fortune's Foundation, originally released in 2022 by Zachtronics. No expense was spared or taken in providing immersive keyboard controls, intricate chiptune audio, and a handful of tiny lizard pictures.

Content warning: postcolonial themes, narrative violence.

Bury a dancing crow behind a wall of peanuts. This is what it wants.

Hey! This is an idle game designed to put the player in tension between queuing more actions (and hence making progress) and actually witnessing the gameplay.

Also, there's a chiptune. It incorporates Pico-8's built-in sound, but also some homemade synth code for the bassline.

Epilepsy warning: there's a little flashing, but all of it is localized to small areas of the screen. (under 16x16)

It's here! The sequel to Kobold Blender Tycoon. Your Kobold Blender has been replaced with a syringe and your craving for kobold meat has been replaced with finer (and redder) tastes. Grow green grapes and red grapes and turn the lights off and on. (as your skin is light-sensitive)

Be careful how many people you turn, as the local demographics are simulated at a level that would surprise you.

matrix: an array of numbers in two dimensions

Leech life and numerological signs from the mortals of Batavia to rebuild your dominion. Feed the eternal bleeding cross, but don't let your greed outstrip your curiosity, lest the Master return from his grave.

(It's 2048 with vampires, plus a "match tiles to see people walk across the screen" mechanic inspired by the old flash game Jericho. An unusual amount of thought went into the interaction design of this one, similar to the slot machine-like parts of my earlier carts.)

CW: Mind control subtext, disorienting imagery. (pulsing, strobing, you name it) Some mildly suggestive language.

This is a Rubik's cube that is also a slot machine that is also a roulette wheel that is also an endless runner. It's probably not a TF trigger. That would be ridiculous.

Hey!

I make a lot of little games and I'm not good at pixel art, so I've been reusing the same character art again and again from project to project. I thought some other people might have the same problem, so I dumped the character art and most of my animation code into this cartridge. I also wrote a little platformer engine just so you can see how these animations might look in an actual project.

Folks who like cute little lizard dudes will likely be pleased, but I added swappable heads.

The public interface of moko consists of all its fields and methods, not all of which are documented.

Chances are you won't need all the animations in whatever project you use this in -- but they should be pretty easy to delete.

A friend of mine is really into kobolds and kind of a masochist, so I made a game where you put kobolds through the blender and drink it. There aren't really any mechanics, but it pretends to be a management sim because I think that's funny. Have fun!

Reech the Kobold is trapped behind a brick wall of mahjong tiles. On the other side of the brick wall is a fire-breathing dragon. This Is Fine.

Hey! This is my second PICO-8 game and the first one I felt like releasing. It's a strategy game based loosely on riichi mahjong and comes with a tutorial explaining the gist of how to play it.

This might have marginal appeal to folks who don't already play riichi -- it's a solo version of the game where you can build big hands without being interrupted.

If you're a riichi mahjong fan, here's the rule differences:

  • no situational yaku
  • no dora
  • no fu
  • no calls or other players at all
  • no open hands
