Pinstrument
Play PICO-8 like an instrument
I wanted to be able to try out ideas and play some melodies and chords on the go.
So I made a small PICO-8 instrument to play around with.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Features
- Play single notes and whole chords
- Choose between PICO-8's 8 instruments
- Choose the scale for single notes and chords
- Choose starting octave
- Play PICO-8's full range of 64 notes accross 5 octaves
- Play all major, minor and diminished chords
- No mouse and keyboard required
-- Only fully functional with native PICO-8, not emulated --
How to use
\u is placed in url Special_Commands but should be placed in url Rendering mode options because it can be disabled with \^-u .
Application to visualize a triangle with the following features:
-
Displays the mouse coordinates in real time
-
Detects whether the right mouse button is being pressed
-
Shows the length of the opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse sides
-
When hovering over a vertex, it visually grows to indicate it’s interactable
-
Triangle vertices can be moved via click and drag
- All side lengths are calculated and updated in real time on screen

Spring has come early and the Snowman is going to melt! Help them escape to the mountains before they melt!
Use snowballs to freeze water and avoid the sun.
Fully Co-op or Vs. (in VS mode you can push each other and throw snowballs at each other)
Run deaths are saved when completing a level, and total score is saved when beating the game. Music can be turned off in the menu.
Made for my daughter who wanted a game about a snowman, and my son who wanted to play with his sister.

You are BIPBIPBOY! A little robot on a mission to defend the galaxy from a terrifying invasion of weirdly smiling, spinning, and... boxing, alien forces.
Fight 8 waves of deadly enemies with your powerful projectiles! Defeat enemies who drop pickups that allow you to switch weapons, from a simple bullet, to a wide reaching spread shot, or to a direct and powerful laser beam.
Can you reach the final boss, and survive its relentless barrage of bullets? Take down the final challenge, and do it over again to get a better high score!

Controls
Move BipBipBoy left and right using arrow keys, or left and right on a D-pad. You have one button to fire your weapon. And thats it! Collect weapon drops to change weapons, and hearts to regain life.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a new PICO-8 game and wanted to share a short gameplay clip from the current build.
It’s a grid-based arcade action game focused on strict 4-direction movement, tight turns, and simple but punishing mechanics. I’m trying to keep the rules minimal while making moment-to-moment movement feel deliberate and satisfying.
The goal is to eventually release this game as part of GoPico, an Android app I’m building that lets people play a curated collection of PICO-8 carts locally on their phones.
Feedback is very welcome, especially around movement feel, readability, and whether the core loop looks fun enough to expand.
Try out gopico: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.bunnylabs.gopico
Fruitlien
this is a game im working on called fruitlien, its obvious its just a little alien guy picking up fruit. im probably gonna add some more stuff in the future. this is the first game ive made in quite a bit so i kinda forgot how to make a game (not that i was ever good)
Things i wanna add:
- skins that drop from the sky
- music
- an extra drop that gives more points than the others
- healing drops
This 3D effect is achieved using this projection equation.
Where X and Y points are calculated and drawn on the screen based on similar triangles
relating their coordinates from a 3D space.
Then you can use these equations to rotate the points:
dx=xcos(angle)-ysin(angle), dy=xsin(angle)+ycos(angle)
I'm still learning to code, so this was a fun project to mess around with!

Created for CorgiJam! Finally, a sequel to the original Space Corgi. There are 30 puzzles to solve using the unique powers of my real actual dogs. Based on real life events.
UPDATE: Slightly changed Level 16 to fix a Corgi position lock issue. I believe all levels are undo/restart-safe now!
UPDATE: 2 player mode ??
UPDATE: Slightly changed levels 24, 28 and 29 to fix 3 additional locks (UPDATE UPDATE - and 26 lol)

Fight Madeline in a PicoBall duel, first to 15 wins!
This is a mod of the game cart for Pico-Ball, a 2d tennis-volleyball mashup starring Jelpi where you make the ball bounce on your opponents end twice to earn a point.
In case you haven't played Picoball, I highly reccomend to play the original game found here
