You're at a city council meeting trying to get a subway station approved. NIMBYs on the left, transit nerds on the right. Balance their energy. Survive the vote. Build the line.
Each round you survive adds another station to your growing metro system. Can you build all 100 stations and complete the network?
A Christmas demake for the Subway Builder community by EJ Fox
Based on the Subway Simulation game Subway Builder: https://www.subwaybuilder.com
Get all elves home, so they can deliver their presents.
Controls:
- move with arrow keys
- jump with x
- crouch with down
- air-kick (after level 5-2) with up + c
- throw the snowballs with c
About:
A game for Christmas, have fun.
You can change the messages to make it a family gift.
If you played my other games, the controls are similar, so coyote frames are massive, there is a hidden roll input and a "perfect" jump.
Merry Christmas!
You were born a tiny snowflake
flying on the wind,
drifting down into
the peaceful valley below.
Snowdrifts
Snowdrifts is my entry in the 2025 PICO-8 Advent Calendar. Showcasing some novel rendering techniques, Snowdrifts is a game in which you embody a snowball: rolling, growing and collecting candy canes.
Huge thanks to @Doriencey for creating the label and to @bikibird and @kevinthompson for hosting the Advent Calendar and doing so much work to make it possible, as well as the rest of the folks in the Advent Calendar community for helping make this a reality.
Thanks to 2darray for aacirc(), Mot for isnearer(), Sim for the dither table, FReDs72 for general 3D knowledge, and zep for creating PICO-8!
This was the first game I ever made, way back in 2023. It's based on the terrible old Rankin/Bass stop motion cartoon "The Leprechauns' Christmas Gold," possibly the only Christmas special I can think of with an anti-charity message. Honestly, this barely qualifies as a game and you can beat it in 3 seconds. Enjoy. Ho-ho-ho.

I'm sorry but currently my multicart won't work on BBS for some reason.
So please refer to the following URL to try html version (at least it works);

Hello again! This is Ruva.
I brought you a new update! This includes;
-
Stage 2 and 3 are added! They are bundled as multicart.
- Skill select screen improved! And now there are some hidden skills...
Any advices appreciated👍
Old versions are below.
v1.0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYpKfox86kU Title theme screen video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZmlpHye1KA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozhPOS-9VWI Game play in color. Stage clear on the 2nd video at the end. Stage 1-1 to Stage Clear 1-4.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDqMIkk_MnE Game play in white and black pixels. Maybe for the Pico-8?
I never bought the game. I only played the sample version and the other version. So I don't know what the rest of the stages look like. Nobody posted a video on the retail version.
Your own version of it.
Jurassic Chaos Reborn
A Game Boy–era floaty platformer re-imagined.
A short, focused platformer built for deliberate movement, exploration, and learning enemy behavior. Play it a little slower—this one rewards patience.
Controls
- D-Pad — Move / Aim
- Button 1 — Jump
- Button 2 — Shoot
What to Expect
- Genre: Platformer
- Playtime: ~5–20 minutes
- 8 handcrafted levels
- Faster on replays once you learn the layouts
- Two play modes: Normal (allows continuing from the current level) and Yolo (used unironically)
This is a complete, finite experience—not an endless run.
Status
Version 1.21
- Minor performance improvements
- Fixed “YOLO” (You Only Live Once) mode — you now actually only live once with your 6 hearts :)
Version: v1.2
This release expands on the original v1.0 with new content while keeping the core experience intact.
Future v2.x updates would only happen if the project moves into multi-cart territory.
Update v1.2:
- Added a new lightning-based core mechanic
- Added 2 new levels built around it
- Minor balance, polish, and level tuning
- Raptor SFX updated (no longer sounds like murdering a Casio My Magic Diary)
Original release: v1.0
Final unless bug fixes or necessary gameplay tuning.
Notes
Made entirely by me over ~65 days while learning PICO-8.
Inspired by early handheld platformers and the feel of 90s portable games.
In the 90s, I purchased Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues (Game Boy) and discovered that it wasn’t a great game—but it was the first game I ever bought with my own money, earned as a paperboy. I played it constantly until I eventually came to appreciate it, and to this day I would count it as one of my “desert island” games. This project is a small love letter to that era of games and life.
Tips
- Take it slow
- Try not to shoot the triceratops
- The rex might seem slow, but one bite and it’s over—don’t forget she’s there ;)
- When you feel like you’ve got the flow of the levels down, try playing through in “Yolo” for some added stress

update 3.0 - fixed an inconsistency with decay placement and reduced cpu to 4 percent
NEW UPDATE 2.0 -
now uses only 6 percent cpu :D
based on a post from zep, but optimized for performance with userdata
it only uses around 10 percent cpu which i think is an improvement to the 15 zeps version was using,
and it also doesnt show any circles if you move windows around quickly. not to mention the 9 3d
rotating wireframe cubes. sorry for no custom color support, i may add it in the future but not
all colors in picotrons palette have enough shades to do this smoothly the same as it can with green
the preview doesnt work correctly for some reason, im sorry about that. i want you to be able to
Make your own cozy Christmas room!
-Use the arrows to move items around
-Press "X" to advance to the next item
-Press F8 and F9 to make your own GIF
Happy Holidays!
authors note: i made this in about 4 hours. i would have liked to add music and more elements but im leaving on a plane soon. maybe i'll update it more next year :D

This is just a simple project I made to understand how this game works, I only made It as practice to make the game I actually wanted to make: https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=153805
