Hello people from vosatron comunity! I need your help -
So I made this little game on the arcade game studio engine (because voxatron is not an engine yet T-T) for the new year's weekend jam on gamejolt and I need feedback.
In a nutshell, I need you guys to play tha game and comment, what was bad, what was good, so I can concentrate on it on other projects (this one is finished so I won't change anything more than a few numbers).

Type: Hack n Slash
This level is originaly a test level for monster behavior that I was going to use on the reversed fairy tale but I already developed it as a whole diferent thing.
Is called misfortune because ironicaly you play the level with the sword of fortune only, so if you get hit once is probably the end for you.
yet, this game is pretty easy, exept for the final red rooms wich are actually a challenge, some level you won't have a weapon at all and the boss fight don't even need a weapon.
I like this concept and it's shooter equivalent will only be released at 0.3 (its a bigger project so I need to work more on this one)

So, for some time the bbs its been inactive
so I have an idea to talk about with all of you voxatron players.
I have lots of work in progress projects that I am working on, one of them is the legend of zelda moon dungeon,
which I can only bring to the bbs when the game allow an inventory sistem, so there is a proper use of bombs. the monsters are almost done and soon the maps will be too, but the project I want to share here is this one
this one is more of a little experience than a game, the paintings are the main points here and the map I prepared is simply huge so it will only be released on the bbs after a while. That's all I can say for now, if anyone wants to help with the plot, or anything else, you are welcome to join.
the idea here is to share our WIP projects that are not ready to share on the bbs on this tread, it can be anyway you want, I'm not the one who make the rules here. So please share your projects, ask for help or even comment another one!

Difficulty: progressive, imprevisible and unbalanced (that's why its a wip)
another dungeon level, made expecially for the little robot from the adventure mode!
I don't have much of the will to balance this one but I'll try
the boss, when hurt gets really fast, so if you change the room size to the standart (128)
you can see that he goes trough the level walls, just like the dragon, yet, it's not supposed to be like that.

a big map with lots to explore
optional collectables (health and sword upgrades, code decrypter, special hearts)

sequel to the catridge enchant, it occurs inside the protagonists psyche, the whole of the database door (the one you see on the title) is yet to be uncovered, the story will be completely revealed only on the next cartridge.
its done! both versions! If it is still too hard please let me know, I'll make changes whenever needed. since no one said it was necessary to put the codes here, I did not do it. thanks for suporting me this far.

I found this interesting voxatron thing, while I was trying to make a cube that could destroy walls when close enough
but my logic is diferent than the game's, I actually made some transparent voxels with the negative ones.
no crashes happen when playing with this, I searched for bugs but nothing that I could see but I did not found any use for it either.

to finish it, just find all the keyblocks
so, I need to know the players group and, if it's 0, how to change that, cause I want to do a mob wich can only be killed by its own bullets
also, when will voxatron add variable to the game, ones wich we can change so we could make something like a two sided story, without using an enormous number of rooms, thanks.

Title: The Reaper's dungeon
Version: Final (needs testing)
5 bosses and a duneon with 2 floors! this is the Reapers dungeon!
So, this is a level for play, no storyline, the level is divided between heaven and hell each one with it's monsters, hope you like!
It was made before zep's tutorial so it has only my assumptions about bullets modifiers and stuff
some bosses are only damageable when they are with a diferent color, stillo only takes damage when you jump on it's head.
This time with its own map!
Edit: zep could you please take a look at room 121? there is a bug there that the portal doesn't spawn
Edit2: since the key at room 121 is bugged the door to one of the bosses is unlocked
Edit3: I noticed another bug at room 121, even witouth the key the portal doesn't spawn if you go from room 0 to there, but if the player spawn directly there at the beggining it works! why is that? I tried replacing the portal but no help.
I want to hear you, what you expect on ace (part 2)?
So, I'm thinking of changing the character from ace to something closer to puzzlemaker, what do you guys think
the old little girl ace or something with a bigger head like the girl in puzzlemaker?
Here Is how the progress is about now:
|There will be lots of new boxes filled with modifiers and gravity properties!
The levels are harder and you will get frustrated lots of times
there are stop rooms (the white ones) wich has an optional test for bonuses.
all amulets (bonus points) are reacheable, can you get them all?
the story is still a bit weird and uninteresting but I'm working on it!
I also would like to ask zep how to post vibe videos here so I can make a quick preview of ace.

obs: this level is an update to the 0.2.7 level "enchant" (now a broken cartridge, due to updates) which is still there because somewhere in this bbs there was a html test with the old version of voxatron (that I couldn't find the link) and I'm not sure if removing it will be okay to that.
note: the 1.3.2 version adds major fixes, changes to bosses, mini-bosses (they are optional) and monsters in general, upgrades to your character and a special secret, the level is now directed to exploration, allowing you to go to any area out of order but the order you choose will define the difficulty of the cartridge.

A quick arena level, I wanted to try making some green area, right now I'm makeing a level that I call enchant, is big so it'll take a while, and people do something too! I can't be the only one doing stuff.
Hello there people! I bought voxatron last week and I'm really loving it! The fan made levels support is amazing, I don't know a game made of voxels that have this much help to make and distribute levels that were made by users, also, I loved the copyright related to the levels and obviously agree with those.
I also have a few suggestions that you may understand as questions for the future voxatron
Something like glass would be nice to add in voxatron, it would give a nice effect to the room showing areas that the player were or is going to be, and if it's a roof, it would have the nice effect that the camera is outside the building!
This is a limitation that is really anoying somehow, I wanted to make something like, a big corridor full of monsters or a puzzle in form of a cross, but the room is only a square with maximum height of 256, it is really big still and hard to fill the bigger square room, but as a corridor it would seem rather small.
The armor is incredibly amazing in voxatron, the way it falls when you get hit with the sword of fortune, or how awesome it is by itself you can just glare a it for some long time without geting bored! but while I was making the pink room, I wanted the sword of eternity to be escarlate and the sword of fortune to be esmeralda, but that would mean that they have diferent colors and there is only one amor for the player, so I had to make a fake escarlate instead of esmeralda.
Is there a easier way to write words without having to paint them voxel by voxel or the shiny way when you get an item? because it would make my life a lot easier, I like to make stories that make sense, not just the kill this monster for me and go to the boss room. People like to think! There is no way to write a mindblow story without using some different words from time to time.
The game is awesome, I have no complaining about the adventure mode, or how I died a thousand times in the lava level, because the dragon is awesome and the snow is cool! This game has SO MUCH POTENTIAL that words are not enought for it.
