here is a fun little project to make the pico jr portable system clone that can almoust fit in your pocket.

curent specs:
-arduino uno or uno compatible clone
-ssd1331 color oled display mine is only 0.95inch
-button and resistor i only needed 1 for my rainbowcurveJR game but can add more

  • optional usb batery pack

since the display is 64x96 im using the extra space for text, could posible turn that int0 a terminal output at some point
this is more or less a proof of concept and probebly needs many improvments since the game im using to test is very simplistic also curent setup wont alow more then 1 game on the device

hi guys, posting this on newyears eve. so happy 2016!
iv been patching up the love2D port of the pico and i want to try and get some more exposure out to the pico8 games.

id like to publish a game bundle (best of the year maybe?) in its own standalone app on the ios store (free download and no ads or micropay), im curently working on the gui and fixing some bugs.

i would like to ask any devs out here for premision to use your game in this bundle, if you have the time i would realy like a small bio on you and what or how the game came to be.

if you have questions about this project by all means ask

i was looking at the recent 0hgames and came across this game
so i made a version for it on pico-8 with a little twist

use left and right to change direction
capture sparkles for points (will also alter the rotation size)

proof of concept mainly, had this idea a long time ago, all u got is a hp bar and nothing else, so you pay the bloodsucking vampire who is selling something with hp, ofcource the rest of the game isnt there, idk ether zombie apocalipse or some thing could work with this, and a map would probebly be nice to

a sliding pipe puzzle game that loops around
try to conect the end points together to compleet the level

i made this game in less then 2 days. its based on a game i made on the gamebuino console and i also made a version in lovejs

this version is a bit on the hard side over the others since the size is a allot bigger
