Hi!

I had a go at the Disc Room game jam, and ended up building a Super Crate Box / Disc Room hybrid. The sfx were made between 2am and 4am so they're a little rough, but otherwise I think it came out okay. Anyhow, this is my first full size PICO-8 game so I'd love to hear what you think!

Hmm... I've always wanted to spin Super Crate Box style gameplay into a larger game. Maybe this could form a base for that. I'll definitely think on it :)

What if you made an alt fire for some weapons? Also, Being able to destroy discs with a mine IN MID AIR would be really cool and make the worst gun in the game a lot better, and danger indicators telling you where enemies are off of the screen would also be really cool

Amazing! one complaint I have is not being able to shoot in one direction and move the other. Maybe make it so [] shoots left and X shoots right?

Survived till 20 boxes without killing a single disc!!

THIS GAME IS AMAZING me and my friend are challenging each other to get a better score things escalated quickly and he’s at 50. Also the disc gun Easter egg actually balances out the game so you make sure what gun you have and don’t mindlessly spam shoot

Great game also to Goob mine is not worst weapon in game that is katana as it only deals shotgun damage, at least mine can do invincibility glitch

@WaluigiRPG, have you never gotten a triple kill with the katana, its so good! worst weapon has to be dual pistols as, whilst the ability to deal damage in both directions is useful, but I haven't yet been in a situation where that has saved my life.

Such tight control. Love it.

I got the disc gun

The minigun is pretty powerful. It even shakes the screen to see how powerful it is.

I like how, just like in the original the disc gun is just bad. Nice reference.

This is just amazing; the flamethrower in particular is so much fun. I spent a few minutes just firing the flamethrower because I didn't want to give it up :)
