My first pico-8 game! Enjoy!
Poland Puzzle
Put Polish regions back into place.
Background
I remember struggling with having to learn all our regions for school and my mom rehearsing with me over and over. Hopefully this game will help future generations.
Click the language button (in the upper right corner) for the English version.
Music score is based on a popular folk song "Wlazł kotek na płotek".

School project incorporating a maze generator, a maze solver and hamster punting mechanics!
Maze generation/representaion is an adaptation of https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?pid=155820

Woodblock!
I have an important mission for you. The geese living in this meadow have been ducknapped!
Yes, they were stolen by a fox, and taken to the old ruins!
Woodblock, please get them back!
Woodblock is here, and ready to save the day!
Woodblock and the geese is a hardcore platformer game where you need to rescue missing geese in an old ruins. Use your movement strategically, and complete ten challenging levels to complete your mission!
Controls
- Move - ← →
- Jump/Walljump - X/Z (changeable in pause menu)

Controls
Press the "X" key on your keyboard or the "X" button on your touchscreen to control the fishing rod.
Gameplay
After casting your fishing line, wait for the fishing bobber to disappear. When it does, that means you've got a bite! Mash the "X" key/button to reel in your catch. Once you've finished examining your catch, press "X" to remove it from your hook. Press "X" again to cast another line.
There are 9 common species, 5 uncommon species, and 1 rare species to catch. The rarer the critter, the more of a challenge it will be to catch!

how to play:
Click on the bricks to damage them
buy different balls to help you
the yellow ball is the default ball
the blue ball does 2 damage
the rainbow ball give x2 money
in the upgrade menu buy speed and delete unwanted balls
in the upgrade menu buy damage per click
good luck

Uploading as cart, but there's no code, the bug is in the SFX:
If this worked correctly, the low-pass filters should silence all sound after the note is released, because that's what they do at cutoff 255 … but instead the sound continues playing. I don't even have an hypothesis why this happens – if you delete any one oscillator, it fixes the bug, but if you mute an oscillator, it doesn't. Likewise, not fixed if you mute any three oscillators, or the … input mixer? the thing at the top. Muting all four oscillators enforces silence, so no apparent bug.
Goblin Detector 🧌
A simple fantasy neural network which trains and runs fully within Picotron!
Specs 💻
- Simple feed-forward MLP with ReLU and softmax output
- 16x16 px images with RGB (16x16x3): 768 -> 128 -> 4
- Classes are Goblin, Wizard, Knight and Skeleton
- Uses the legendary MWIZD dataset (... found in 0.gfx pages 0, 1, 2, 3)
- 256 sprites for training. Mirrored LR for a total of 512 per epoch.
- Made around the use of first 0-15 (PICO8) colors.
Training ðŸ§
- 10 epochs is good enough. 20 is for patient people.
- Rendering the training process slows it down a bit but looks cool.

As the wizard queen you must defend your castle using increasingly powerful spells and fortifications.
You lose if you die or if your castle crumbles.
Casting spells may be a bit tricky, but when you get the hang of it and advance in the game the right spell is always available.
Can you make it through all 25 waves and defeat the final boss!? Can you beat your high score!?
Photosensitivity Warning
This game uses some strobing light effects. If this would prevent you from playing and you are interested, I’d appreciate that feedback.
Tips
- Read the spell directions carefully, the controls are a bit non-traditional
- You can't move and cast at the same time
- Slower monsters are more powerful against your castle
- Late game: portals don't work when monsters are near the exit portal
Hey,
I've got a game jam coming up in a couple of days where I'm hoping to explore some rhythm game-like mechanics, so I was wondering if anyone has any beginner-friendly advice for this type of thing. I'm hoping to achieve something pretty simple, just testing if the player has hit buttons in the correct order within a time limit. I really like how the Coffee Maker Pico-8 game handles this, but I'm still at a point where other people's completed code feels impossible to parse.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who offers advice!

Hey there,
has anyone seen this?
https://github.com/freewili/wili8jam
To be honest, this kinda looks too good to be true...
Also, why develop this for an out-of-stock/kinda obscure device like the Fruit Jam?
Its just so much work!
Anyways... if anyone happens to be the proud owner of an Adafruit Fruit Jam... it
would be really great if that person could try and get this running ;-)
Cheers,
Andy
EDIT: Seems like the FruitJam is back in stock again, so it might not be so "out-of-stock/kinda obscure" after all ;-)
