About this game

This is a demake of Fantasy Zone, SEGA. Boss rush mode is available and you can fight all of 8 bosses.
I made this game to feel "Wow, looks like the legendary game Fantasy Zone when seen from a distance!".
I never made this as a perfect clone. There are many differences from the original game.

How to play

Start the game and enter select panel.

  • Select mode: EASY or NORMAL
  • Select stage: 1 to 8

If you select EASY, player doesn't get damaged. In this mode, you can enjoy tour of all bosses of Fantasy Zone and "EASY" is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If you select HARD, collision detection of the player is enabled.

Controls

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move player
  • O/Z: shoot bullets
  • O/X: shoot bombs

Note

Some stages need loading next cartridge when defeating the bosses. If it fails, the game cannot be continued. Please play this game with line connected well.

Details

  • The bosses are roughly implemented. Most of the original patterns do not work. The major differences are here:
    • Time limit of bosses to start moving toward the player is not implemented for other than Poppos.
    • There is no safe area for Winklone.
    • The pass through bug of the last boss can be used only at the bottom of screen.
    • Price of coins are all same and you can't scroll the screen to left and right to gather coins.
    • Amount of weapon price increase is not same as the original game.
  • The collision judgement of the player is lenient but dodging bullets in this low resolution screen is tough. The difficulty is high and unique strategy of this game is needed. Fortunately effective weapon is same as the original game and you can enter the shop balloon before fighting bosses, so you can prepare the same strategy as the original game. For example:
    • A heavy bomb for stage 3
    • 3 Smart bombs for stage 4
    • 7 way shot for stage 5
    • A heavy bomb for stage 8 last enemy

This is a demake of GRADIUS, KONAMI. Boss rush mode is available and you can fight 9 bosses selected from GRADIUS series continuously.
I made this game to feel "Wow, looks like the legendary game GRADIUS when seen from a distance!".
I never made this as a perfect clone. There are many differences from the original game.

How to play

Start the game and enter select panel.

  • Select mode: NO DAMAGE or NORMAL
  • Select rank: LOW or HIGH
  • Select number of options: 1 to 3
  • Select stage to start: 1 to 9

If you select NO DAMAGE, player doesn't get damaged. In this mode, you can enjoy tour of bosses of GRADIUS series and the player, Vic viper equips gold force field. If you select NORMAL, collision detection of the player is enabled.
If you select HIGH rank, the enemies shoot revenge bullets. If you select LOW rank, the enemies don't.

Controls

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move player
  • O/Z: shoot laser
  • O/X: shoot missiles

Details

  • When the player miss, the equipment will remains.
  • The bosses are roughly implemented. Most of the original patterns do not work. The top right of the screen safe area for COVERED CORE and reflect laser pattern for BIG CORE mk-III are available.
  • The collision judgement of the player is lenient but dodging bullets in this low resolution screen is tough. The difficulty is high and unique strategy of this pico-8 game is needed. If you select HIGH rank and less options, the difficulty goes up further.

This is a demake of DARIUS, TAITO. Boss rush mode is implemented and 11 bosses, all of the DARIUS bosses appear and you fight them continuously.
I made this game to feel "Wow, looks like 3 screen DARIUS when seen from a distance!".
I didn't make this as a perfect clone. There are many differences from the original game.

How to play

Start the game and enter select panel.

  • Select mode: EASY or HARD.
  • Select zone to start: A-Z.

When you select EASY, player doesn't get damaged. In this mode, you can enjoy a tour of all bosses of DARIUS and "EASY" is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

When you select HARD, collision detenction of the player is enabled. Anyway, the player doesn't get damaged by hitting against the outer walls.

Controls

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move player
  • O/Z: shoot bullets
  • O/X: ground attack

Details

  • When player miss, next player appears soon without restarting the stage.
  • When you defeat a boss, the barrier recovers (HP: 3) and the equipment is upgraded automatically. The player's equipment is fixed for each of zones.
  • The bosses are roughly implemented. The original pattern does not work.
  • The collision judgement of the player is lenient but dodging bullets in this low resolution screen is tough.
  • Digits of score is few. Breaking a part earns 300 points. Defeating a boss earns 1000 points. There is a special feature: breaking drill missile of GREAT THING earns 1000 points, same as defeating a boss. You can earn many points by breaking drill missiles but it is so hard.

About this game

This is a remake of SEICROSS, Nichibutsu. It is NES version of SECTOR ZONE.
Run to reach the rightmost goal of the road before fuel empty.
Bottom of the screen shows score, progress meter, and fuel meter.
When you clash objects, the fuel meter decreases. When you get red blinking items or heart marks, the fuel meter recovers.
You can shoot bullets and hit enemies.
When you reach the goal, got heart marks become bonus score.

Controls

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move player
  • O/Z: shoot bullets

About the character

The playable character is Shimarin, a main character of Japanese comic and animation: YURU-CAMP.
She is popular in Japan and there are many fan arts of her. This game is one of the fan arts. BGM is arrange version of the opening song of YURU-CAMP animation, SHINY DAYS.

Additional note

Originally, I made this game as a demonstration of multiple scroll of back ground image, Mt. Fuji. I came up with an idea to play SEICROSS using this view. This is the reason why the back ground view is large and the play lane is small.
Also, this game is arranged to be more casual. Player doesn't miss when clash the objects. Player doesn't get damaged when hit against the outer walls. No enemies shoot bullets. Many features are different from the original game to be easier. Enjoy!

About this game

This is a remake of Burger Time, Data East.
Move to step on hamburger materials. Drop all materials to complete hamburgers. There are three stages.
No enemy appears in EASY mode. Enemies appear in HARD mode.
You can attack the enemies using pepper but it only can stop them temporally. You can crush them by dropping materials on them.

If you drop a material with enemies on, the material drops many steps and earns 1000 points per enemies on. This is a good technic to complete the hamburgers speedy, get high score, and get extra player for every 10000 points.
If enemies hit you, HP meter above decreases. When HP meter become empty, you lose a player.
Items appear periodically and getting it recovers a pepper and HP meter.

Controls

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move left/right/up/down
  • O/Z: pepper to attack

About the character

The playable character is HAMBURGER-chan, a Japanese creator's self-image character. He draws her in his picture diary as himself. She is pretty and there are many fan arts in Japan. This game is one of the fan arts.

About this game

This is a remake of Pitfall II, SEGA.
Run, and jump to reach the rightmost of the field and get a birthday present before time is up.
Time limit is 5 minutes for EASY mode, 3 minutes for HARD mode.
When you're got damaged, the time decreases by 5 seconds. When you get a cake, the time increases by 10 seconds.

  • D-Pad/Arrows: move left/right
  • O/Z: jump

The playable character is USADA, one of main characters of Japanese animation, DiGiCharat.
We, Japanese fans love her and celebrates her birthday every year. This game is to celebrate her 2021 birthday.
