Arrow Keys to Move
X to Restart
You see a strange machine and activate it... It causes a glitch in time and you see an alternate version of yourself, who you can control.
Original Once Again... on Scratch
Happy 5th Anniversary of Once Again...!
Early alpha attempt to make a hexagonal version of the Mora Jai puzzle boxes from Blue Prince.
There's a single puzzle at the moment, but every color is implemented.
Instead of left clicking the tiles to play normally, you can right click a tile to change its color (rudimentary level edit), or right click outside the puzzle to randomly color the 7 tiles.
Feedback (or even level sceenshots) very welcome.

Make your way past spikes to collect keys and reach the flag!
But do not forget to stop and smell the irises...
Explore to find as many of the coins as you can, to finish the game with the most points! Highscores are saved locally so you can compete against yourself or friends across multiple runs, just like a proper arcade cabinet.
This is the fully in-engine version of a game I made for CS 361 Software Engineering I, which originally handled many of its features using external Python programs, integrated through the development-only stdin/stdout serial interface. You can find the original version (and play it, if you have both pico-8 and python3) on GitHub. This version is also available to play in-browser and as download for PC/Raspi on

If you're not familiar with John Conway's work, click here for Wikipedia's great overview.
I wrote this to work on my coding skills with Pico-8 and it certainly taught me a lot. Watching these grids evolve can be quite absorbing, especially on larger grids.
A few notes; the maximum grid size is 99 cells in either direction. Density is how densely those cells are occupied when the grid is first generated. The simulation can detect when the population is stable and unchanging, but it's possible to end up with an astable grid that flicks between two states, and in that case you can just press button 2 to end the simulation.
This is a fairly simple one-off character editor I threw together in a couple of hours for another project I'm working on. Using Ctrl+C copies the hex representation of the character you have selected (you may need to press Ctrl+C twice in the HTML5 export!), and Ctrl+V pastes it back into the editor. The color mode simply layers multiple one-off characters on top of each other using the backspace character.
I've been using PICO-8 since 2020, but this is the first project I've considered finished.
It was made for the Sant Jordi Jam 2026 this past April. Today, I added some music from a free-to-use MIDI pack by punishedfelix in itch.io, music is my weakness.
The original release was a multicart. The title menu was on the first cart because I was experimenting with some palette tricks, while the game itself was on the second. Today, I decided to merge them into a single cart.
I think that the funny part was the title screen, here is a string that I export from original title cartridge with One-Off GFX by @Heracleum.
If I remember correctly, a total of 20 colors are used: the 15 main colors, plus a secondary background palette that uses color 0 as transparent, with patterns to make the most efficient use of the palette. The Painto8 tool by @BoneVolt was very helpful, along with a tool I wrote to edit the background palette and its patterns.

I suppose this is probably a question for @zep
Is there a way to fetch the BBCode (asterisks, hashtags, etc. that format a BBS post) from a post? I'm planning on making a cart for picotron that is able to read and display things from the BBS. On that note, is there also a way to find out what the most recently posted posts are by using fetches?
That's it, thanks!

[UPDATE2]
Fixed graphic glitch with some sprites that sometimes appeared
[UPDATE]
Ok i basically rewrote the whole game, i think its a proper actual game now, after struggling a loot with my ideas and the code, i checked this game by @paperskull and learned A LOT about how can things work on pico8, so thanks @paperskull for making amazing games!
The game:
You are a skelleton that woke up, the remenants of a once great necromancer but now a lowly skelleton with just your old purple tunic to remind you of your past, but you are still undead, and all you want now is revenge on the dwarven fortress that brought you down.
You will have to gather the knowledge you lost, at least you still remember how to make a summonig circle, from there the rest is to gather summoning materials, remember the combinations and raise an army worthy of your revenge.
Have in mind that Skeletons are lacking some brain (who doesn't right?) and may need a little push or call to direct them where you want (throwing bones is no longer a thing because it was rude to the bones).
Raising from the dusty caves where they left you for eternity, you'll have to cross the great forest, go deep into through the goblin territory and at last destroy the dwarven stronghold, defeat all the enemies in each battle to progress.
Controls:
Z: open summoning circle
X: yell BONE!
Direction buttons: move

Description
"Agar" is an Agar.io clone, where you play as a cell (I like calling them agars) and your only goal is to constantly grow bigger by eating food (small circles laying everywhere) and other agars.
The only difference from the original - instead of splitting yourself into the smaller agars by clicking action button, in this version you speed up and reducing your size.
Be carefull of the spike cells! When you big enough and touch them, they reduce your size. But it also can be a good hide out for smaller cells.
Controls
- ARROWS - control direction.
- Z - score table.
- X - boost by reducing your size (the bigger you are, the more energy you need to spend).

Galactic Dash
Pac-Man inspired maze game.
Use the arrow keys to turn, the movement is very close to Pac-Man.
Use Z to break, stopping you temporarily.
Use X to dash forward if the bar is full.
The game gets faster as you play and do well.
The rest is explained in the help section on the title screen.
A little dot above the jellies means that multiple are stacked on one tile.
Feel free to post high-scores.
Into the Darkness — a new dark cave mode for Fox Fall Adventures
The lava caves have gone dark, and the fox needs a torch and a lot of nerve.
Into the Darkness is a new mode built on the bones of Lava World, but reworked from the ground up into something meaner: a torch-lit, maze-like descent through 10 pitch-black caverns with lava gaps, collapsing ceilings, and a hard 150-second clock on every level.
What's different:
🔦 Spotlight survival — your visibility is a small flickering circle around the fox. Everything outside it is gone. Find torches to widen it, and they stack — grab a few in a row and stay lit through a whole stretch of cave.
⚠️ Fair-but-dark hazard warnings — anything dangerous lurking just past your light (a monster, an erupting lava ball) flashes a yellow marker at the edge of the screen so the darkness never feels cheap.
🌋 Lava balls, Mario-castle style — no warning mounds, no vents. The lava just erupts, randomly, anywhere near you. Big gaps mean lava + fireballs; small gaps mean a straight fall to your death if you miss the jump.
