The Game
You are a little guy with the capability to switch between two worlds. With the knowledge you gain between both worlds, you must pass through 10 levels to reach the end!
Note: your stats are shown at the end of your run, try to beat your time! Or, how few jumps can you beat the game in?
My stats:
Fastest time - 0:46
Fewest jumps - 61
Fewest deaths - 0 (duh)
About
I wanted to release a game, so I gave myself around two weeks to learn PICO-8 and make whatever came to mind.

v1.0:
Hello, first post here. I bought Pico-8 a few months ago and this is the first thing I started working on.
Got stuck for a while, got some motivation on Reddit which helped me very much to get it to this stage I feel comfortable releasing.
It has:
- Chess and Chess960
- PvP or a Computer opponent (quite a weak one)
- Full match notation with the option to revert to any point in the match
- PGN and FEN export
This is quite a big thing for me, because I am actually publishing a personal project after a long time instead of just starting something interesting and then letting it rot in my Projects folder half-finished and forgotten.
It is not perfect; there are some known issues, animations are janky, computer engine is slow and weak... But this is what it is for now.
Run is a game about escaping an airport while a mad man with a lit match tries to explode you after strapping a bomb to you. Survive 3 levels of dodging obstacles to win.
Story
You fell asleep in a chair at the airport...
You are awakened by a man strapping a band of explosives around you!
He smiles at you, then lights a match...
Run.
Controls:
Mobile: Use on screen controls
Desktop: Arrow keys to select menus, 'z' or 'c' or 'n' for O button, 'x' or 'v' or 'm' for X button.
Dev Notes
This is my second Pico-8 game. Thanks for checking it out and for any feedback, which is much appreciated!

Bubbled Bugs is a roguelike, puzzle game in which you drop color balls into a box and try to keep them below the line at the top of the box. It's like Suika Game, but instead of merging, balls of the same color shrink (and eventually break) when they touch each other.
The game is played through 32 rounds. On each round, you drop balls until the round bar is full. When a round starts, you're presented with three options to choose one. These options are either special balls or upgrades. You can also "re-roll" to get new options, if available.
Ball hits generate pickup elixir, which is stored on the pickup bottle (little bottle on the "Next" section). When the bottle is full, all the collected elixir is released turning a random color ball into a pickup ball. Pickup balls gives you bugs, sword attacks and multipliers when they break.

AP8L is an APL-inspired programming language embdedded inside PICO-8. It's not exactly compatible with APL\360, but it can do almost everything APL\360 can. The main differences are that AP8L is slightly more modern, being inspired by leading-axis principles.
To see help about using the system, type )HELP and hit Enter. To enter a function, insert the ∇ symbol (Tab + G) and then the function header: R←F Y for a monad and R←X F Y for a dyad. You can of course change all the names; R is the name of the variable that contains the result; F is the name of the function, X is the name of the left argument and Y is the name of the right argument. Write lines and when you're done send ∇ on an empty line to save the function.
Minas: A cheese puzzle
A game inspired by the classic "one panel/line wipe" puzzle games of the likes of Tetris, Puyo Puyo and Columns, but with new unique modern mechanics and some unexpected twists
- 10 difficulty levels
- Win items to help you destroy some pieces
- Be patient to fill the cheese-meter and explode many pieces out of the board!
- Beware of the rat infestation: they can steal your cheese
V 2.0
- Fixed runtime error bug on game over
- Graphic improvements
- Fixed "no item" bug when random item is delivered
- How to play screen
- Finally, the game has music

Howdy, just wanted to introduce myself, say hi, and offer a big THANK YOU to those that made Pico-8.
I am late to the game but just purchased the $14.99 Pico and exploring this on my Mac Pro 2013 Workstation.
I hope to one day do the same from my Sinclair ZX Spectrum Next as a rumored Pico-8 Core is being worked on.
Yeah!!
Here is a video about me and my hopes and dreams about Pico-8 here at my Retro Home.
