Caves of Izrod is a puzzle/arcade hybrid spanning 8 levels

Rescue your peeps (yellow) from the horrible monsters (red) by taking them to the exit (blinking space) !
You can never run out of lives but dying will restart the level.
If you find a level too hard just remember that monsters only move in a very specific manner & there are a lot of spaces where they can never reach you.

Good luck and have fun!

Controls

TAB or SHIFT - turn computer on
ANY KEY - start game
CURSORS - move around

Excellent game! Loved the sort of 3-D effect with the shadows and how the peeps expand when you reach them.

Excellent sound design, too.

The zooming effect is awesome, it really gives the impression that the dots are real characters!

Amazing game and presentation!

The zooming effect looks brilliant, and the reflections or shadows on the floor are such a nice touch.

Like other commenters, I especially liked the characters zooming in to reveal them. Really clever way to bring those characters to life on such a small screen.

Echoing comments above. Really great work.

Very ciomplex game for such a small screen! I included it in my compilation video series of the Tiny TV Jam games, if you’d like to take a look :)

Really enjoyed the way you stylised the tv box to look like an old computer :D

This is really great, I love how polished it is. The zoom effect is a great idea, and the level transitions are very cool too. When I was playing some of the tougher levels I forgot I was looking at a 10x11 screen :D

Thanks for all the kind words (and the very nice video)

Great visuals with really addictive game play.
I especially love your little Commodore 64-like computer, joystick and floppy disk. Brings back good memories! ;o)
Nice one!
