Summary
My attempt of a single player version of pong. This is my first attempt with physics so it is a little rough.
You will score a point when the ball hits the paddle, ceiling or the walls. The ball can never bounce straight up and down there will always be some element of sideways movement albeit small.
Controls
left & Right - move the paddle
X & O - menu buttons
Enter - PICO-8 menu
This is my first complete game ever!
Rules
Very simple. Just build the customers pizza and hit submit.
Try to finish all the customers before time runs out.
If you run out of time, you lose.
--------------- Self-Pat on the back ---------------------
I'm so happy I actually got this to a working stage where I can call it complete.
I did it. I beat procrastination. I broke the problem into smaller problems. I did the thing.
It still needs some polish, but the MVP is done and I couldn't be happier!

A solitaire game based on the Set! card game.
"Sets" are made when all 3 cards have the same or different features.
Find as many sets as you can.
12 cards are dealt in a 3x4 grid from a deck of 81 unique cards.
Each card has 4 features with 3 variations of those features:
- Color: red, green, blue
- Number: 1, 2, 3
- Pattern: outlined, checkered, filled
- Shape: oval, diamond, squiggle
About Set
Set is a card game designed by Marsha Falco in 1974, and published by Set Enterprises in 1991. This game aims at re-creating the game experience in Picotron. It is not in any way affiliated with Set Enterprises, Inc. or the SET card game. You can show your support to the game editors by buying a physical version of the game ($12.99). https://www.playmonster.com/product/set/
This is a janky, physics based platformer-fighter about recklessly launching yourself at robots in increasingly work-safety-violating environments.
Dropkicks Inc. offers its services to automated companies of "sublegal" status who need an incident cleaned up (with everyone's favorite kind being robots gone haywire) without official help. With how many machines there are in the world, this is a fairly sustainable business! Try to ignore all the shady stuff going on in the background. Or don't.
Features 6 linear levels, each with several messy, destructible environments and occasionaly giant UFOs, heat-seeking missles, grappling hooks, laser swords, burning oil and more!

This is the first PICO-8 game that I release and publish to the BBS so it might not be perfect. This game was supposed to take a week to make, and I ended up finishing it in only 8 hours...
The game is also available on itch.io!
Controls
X: When the text and color matches
Z or C: When the text and color are different
About the game
This is a game I made in only 8 hours which is based on the Stroop effect.
The goal is simple: A text is shown on the screen with a color. If the text is in the same color as what the text says, press X, if not, press Z or C. If you are correct, your score increases by 1. If you are wrong, the game ends instantly. You have only 3 seconds to determine it, it's a rapidness game!

So I made an app that allows you to sort your favourites.txt file. I have two versions one for MuOS and one for Raspberry Pi. I encountered an issue where I have few hundred favourites. And trying to find them is a pain. Now you can sort the list by any category you see fit.

Heya!
I'm working on a chat server for Picotron, and I'm having the issue that I'm required to poll the server to be able to check for any new messages.
I will not be able to use anything but TCP/UDP, to my knowledge - I'm planning on using a free service like playit.gg or cloudflare to act as a tunnel between the home server and clients - this is the reason it's required to be https.
This would be running at my own house on a home server, and I'd prefer not to overload it too much, so I've been looking into how I can get this to work better, rather than constantly fetching the webpage over and over.
I thought to streamed radio stations that occur over the web, and thought I could setup the same thing.
I decided to take one of these https streamed endpoints and try fetch it in Picotron and, to my expectations, Picotron did not like it.
Due to there being data transmitted, since it's streaming, Picotron kept the fetch running but froze the entire application - this can of course be fixed with on_complete but the stream would never actually complete.
If anyone has any ideas on a way to fetch streamed data, I'd be very grateful!
For reference, I'll share snippets of code that's currently used:
@router.get("/get_messages")
def getMessages(authorization: str=Header(None)):
if not authorization or not authorization.startswith("Bearer "):
return Response(
content=pod({"ok": False, "error": "Missing token"}),
media_type="text/plain"
)
token=authorization
[ [ Continue Reading.. ] ](/bbs/?pid=192396#p) |

I'm unsure if this is a bug with my code, or with picotron's. Anyway, the text editor in this code doesn't seem to be working, and the gui elements don't seem to be resizing. Any help would be appreciated.
