Do you have the strength, agility, and cunning to prove yourself worthy of the title Slime Grandmaster?
For the slimes, the classic snake game is more than just a game, it’s a way of life. The slime society thrives on speed, strategy, survival, and, of course, hats. Only the quickest, most tactical, and best-hatted slimes can claim the ultimate title: Slime Grandmaster.
The game consists of five levels, and it has been an interesting journey. The work made me realize the amount of work that goes in to adding all the details, with an increase respec of other pico 8 games that has both maching music way more details added than I manage to add in this game.
The game consists of five levels, and developing it has been a rewarding journey. The process has given me a deep appreciation for the amount of work that goes into adding all the small details. I do admire other Pico-8 games, which include music, and layers of additional details that by far extend the details that I manage to add.

A demake of Atoms:DS an homebrew puzzle game for the Nintendo DS where you have to create chains reactions, eliminate your rival's atoms and convert them to yours. It is based on a game on Amiga.
Gameplay
The objective is to destroy all the other player's atoms.
Each player takes turn to place an atom.
This atom can either be placed on the an empty square or on top of one of the players existing atoms. Atoms will go critical and explode if the same number of atoms are placed on the square as there are surrounding squares (e.g. corners take 2, edges take 3 and centre take 4).
When an atom goes critical and explodes it will place new atoms horizontally and vertically around the square. Any atoms already in those squares will be increased in size and become the property of the player that started the explosion.
Hi everyone!
This is my first PICO-8 game draft. In Elena goes to school, you play as Elena, a girl who needs to overcome some challenges on her way to her first day of classes.
Controls:
Arrows / D-Pad: Move Elena

Simple but fun top-down game.
A cozy atmosphere.
I've been testing this on my Miyoo A30 and it feels great to play on a handheld.
Looking forward to finishing the game soon and congratulations on this platform and community!

Overview:
This is a tiny platformer story inspired by the legally distinct Chunky Chimp movie from Bluey. May be a challenge.
If you loose your place, jump back in to Act 2 or Act 3 from the start menu.
Controls:
Left and Right to move
Z or Circle to Jump
Up to ponder life
Down to rest and control music
X to toggle board (if applicable)

Just a silly thing I'm working on as a way to teach myself.
So, I've been working on this for a few days now and so far I'm pretty happy with what I have so far. There's plenty more I want to do but I've made a lot of changes so it's time to upload the new cart.
If you have followed any SHMUP tutorials, you might recognize some of the things I'm doing here.
I have added more enemies and a powerup item that restores 100HP. Currently the game is much more chaotic and difficult but I think it's still well within the realm of playable.
Update: I've just uploaded a new version with an additional powerup that gives the player better firepower for a limited time. Having played the game with this addition I feel like the timing for getting the powerup and losing it again are fairly acceptable. The gameplay is still challenging, but not as bad/chaotic as it was in the last version.
DEAD END JOB
Work from home is over. You're back in the office 5 days a week—as long as they keep you. Layoffs are coming. Put your head down and get to work.
But don't work too hard. Only a fool would work their hands to the bone on Monday just to get laid off on Tuesday.
Can you send one email before 5pm?

Press X or O to have Floaty Fish dive. Avoid the fishing nets!
A one-button endless runner heavily inspired by Flappy Bird.
This is my first attempt at game dev, so some bugs and inefficiencies should be expected. All feedback is welcome!

Hello,
I recently noticed that a few repositories are distributing pico8 for free illegaly. I think that this is very rude because the creator put a lot of work, passion and love into the fantasy console. Please dont download pico8 from these repositories and report them.
Lexaloffle games has put a lot of work, passion and love into the fantasy console. I understand that you dont want to pay for pico8 but if thats the case just use pico8 education edition for coding (its basically pico8 without splore) and use the bbs in the web for playing games! You can also download ANY game on the bbs by clicking the cart button and downloading the image appearing when clicking on the cart button. Then in the education edition type load and then select the game.
You can access the education edition here: https://pico-8-edu.com/
You can access all the games and posts on the bbs here: https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php

I've been playing with implementing a kv store outside of PICO-8. It would make it so much easier if this functionality were a be a bit more mature and intuitive.
