I am on a stump on what to do next! Here is the story so far:
Story begins with fighting in a gladiator's arena.
Once the player destroys the waves of enemies, he goes to his jail cell, where his overlord congratulates him on his victory, and tells him to go to bed.
Next morning the overlord wakes him and tells him it is time for another fight.
Sever waves of enemies are sent to kill player in gladiators arena.
Once he finishes that the overlord greets him in the arena and tells him they need to talk privately.
..... suddenly writers block.....
Sooo.. Internets, have any ideas?

Hello!
I would like to share some of my ideas with you.
-if there is coming to be a client, then how should humblebundle users log in, because i got the game gifted so it doesnt appear in my game list.
In that case you should maybe add a serial system. Because at the end of every humblebundle link is a serial locate that you could maybe enter in the my game list.
-if you are planning multiplayer, it should be nice if you start with a lan function, so we can play it over hamachi.
-another "problem" i walked in to, was that if i downloaded a png file from the site, i didn't know how to open it in voxatron. Maybe you could add a local levels loader with a option in the menu? So we can store our png's and play our downloaded levels offline.
That's it!
I love your game and i hope i can support you in your development this way :D
Thank you for creating another game i like!
Now with more objects, enemies and powerups! Please give feedback about pretty much everything please! The first version seems to be pretty well recieved, so if this one is liked just as much (but preferably more) then I'll start on a new level.
Unless I can think of something awesome to add to this level.

It's nice that Voxatron already has a level editor and an enemy editor is in the works. The game is going to be quite moddable. You hinted at gameplay mods. But how far do you want to take it ?
What interests me is how powerful the tools will be, and will there be any scripting support ? And I mean the ability to create (sometimes major) gameplay changes, like stuff I posted in this thread:

You are probably not going to release the C source code of the game anytime soon. I'm only a novice at C programming, but Voxatron is the kind of game that makes me WANT to learn more C.
