Games I've worked on: https://avivbeeri.itch.io
It's been a while since the last PICOZINE came out, and I noticed people posting tutorials and examples on here. The problem is that it's so easy for that great content to get lost among all the activity.
So, to fill the hole and provide a place for people to learn about the PICO-8 and other fantasy consoles (LIKO-12, TIC-80, PV8, etc), in a more searchable, focused way, I've created a sort of digital blogzine for everyone to contribute to and post this stuff.
Check it out here! Infinite Limit
If you have something you'd like to share. write up a small article and send it to [email protected], or message me via twitter @InfiniteLimitZn!
I hope this is something the whole community can get behind!
This is a small game I put together for Get Well Soon Jam (which I also hosted).
Play it on itch.io

Thanks to previous research, you know that they have a 4 letter alphabet, and they modify the glyphs based on their period in time.

Here is my entry for A Game By Its Cover: Stranded on a Mountain
After crash landing on a lonely mountain, all your survival supplies have been scattered across its peaks.
Find your gear and climb to the top. Survive.
Controls: Directional buttons to move. Hold Z (O) to view the inventory.
Here is a model version of Pallet Town from Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow using a 4-color palette.
The tile-based movement engine comes from the PICOZINE #5 movement article I've written.
Currently nothing is animated, so it looks a little dead.
