this post is specifically referring to flashing between two colors at 60FPS.

  1. the best way to get an exact grey is 3+14, rather than what i thought: 0+7

  2. color 8 is the most red color even if you have color mixing, its just 8+8

  3. the colors in pico-8's secret pallete are all recreatable in color mixing with acuracies all over 90%. however, colors 138, and 142, both cannot be recreated without causing an eyesore.

  4. there are 14 shades of eyesoreless gray. (19 total)

  5. the color you get from mixing green and blue in most digital software is recreated with colors 11 and 12, being, green and blue. this does not go for red+green or red+blue.

A mysterious collection of freshwater and saltwater fish has converged in this bay. Rumored sightings of a dragon in the area suggest a possible cause.

Aim with the arrow keys, cast your line with X. Keep the line tension in the middle box. Use your arrow keys to pull against resisting fish (pull in the opposite direction of their movement).

If you can get enough points, you may be able to find the dragon!

This is a fangame inspired by Breath of Fire IV's fishing minigame. It is also my submission for Palette Lock Jam in June of 2025. Happy Pride!

Eat Me is a minimalist arcade survival game created in under 72 hours for Mini Jam 186 (Theme: Evolution · Limitation: Failure is Progress).

You play as a tiny organism trying to survive in a hostile ecosystem, not by avoiding danger, but by embracing it. To grow, you must be eaten. Each predator that consumes you pushes your evolution forward.

Thank you to everyone who gave some feedback! I have reworked some of the levels and added a 5th world to explore! Ignoring potential bugs, this is the first full release of GLOF! After some feedback, I have redesigned slopes and one certain feature (that was not well received) and added 15 new levels! Now including world 4, and a bonus world with 5 challenging levels! Glof is still unfinished, however I am ready to move onto a new project, but if you have any suggestions still drop them here!

I've made an (almost) fully-featured Go board game for the Pico-8 inspired by this tweetcart by Munro. Feel free to submit any bug reports if you encounter any weird behaviors.
