Hi!
I've made this game to practice my code couple of months ago.
Tetris was, at this time, kind of "the big wall of dev" for me.
The game is far from perfect, but I'm not sure I'll work on it again.

I've had some Sfx here and there, also try to make the controls (L/R) more fast.

Recently, a very good friend of mine sent me photo of his son, Soan, 4 at the time, playing Super Shmup (one of my 1st game, thanks to the Lazy Devs Academy)
At this time, I was working on another game prototype, a platformer, but the scope was waaaay to big (I realize now), and I was getting really tired of the project day after day.
For his birthday, my friend build his son a RetroPie/Recalbox device, for him to play and discover some retro classics. Super Mario was on top of the list, but beyond the first couple levels, it was too difficult for Soan.
So I asked my friend :
- What does Soan want in a video game ??
And he answered me :
- Tomatoes !! and Green Lasers !!!
All of this give me the idea to use the prototype I've made to make a game that he could enjoy, something retro looking, with some fun challenges, but mostly discovery.
I've tried to be the most authentic from what I recall to be the greatest games I've ever played, and tried to add some new fun features.
I Hope you'll enjoy this game as much as I had to program it!

- high score is now working (hopefully)
- new animation when deleting the blocks
- "best time" indicator for the game-over screen
- Numbers in "dark mode" are now the same colors as "light mode"
I've changed some colors in the game to make the animations pops a lil more
You have now to press a button (x or o) in order to exit the game over screen

Welcome to Sokobird !
Sokobird is a sokoban game based on Yoshio Murase levels.
.
These levels are small (no more than 8x8), and contains only 3 boxes to push, but can be delightfully tricky and surprisingly difficult to solve.
.
As I choose the 64x64 resolution to work with, and also to save the player progression, I had to discard some levels.
.
v1.2 changes :
- Some levels are reorganized.
- Finishing the game will not longer erase your score.
