hi i hope you find someone in NY, a good way to start is play a good but simple bbs level,

i recommend this one

then open the editor, load the same level and redraw things, change parameters to see what does what. that way its setup already but you can also learn by observation, I learnt alot by just going mental on this level i made the octopus move around the room instead of being in a fixed position and added extra arms, coolness indeed!

Yeah some peoples levels are really awesomely logical, theres one with a conveyor belt a wizard and a fox, that has awesome logical folder management. anyone remember what level that is? I looked but cant find it, wasnt finished just a one room demo so far.

I am probably the closest to New York, but not really because I actually live in North Carolina (Great place btw). I have also just started doing levels in the editor, but I am a quick learner, and am glad to help.
