1.3 is here!!!!!! view the additions via the changelog!

This is a test map for my vertical platformer game, Sneaky Towers. While it is only a test, I have many things planned for this.

  • Finally added music! (Thank God, my ears needed more than just random noise.)
  • Scrapped 4 player multiplayer... (even adding P3 would take up too many tokens)
  • Gave each character (only 2/4 playable right now) their own projectile and gun sprites.
  • P2 HAS FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO SWIM!!!!!!!!
  • P1 and P2 labels next to life bar to prevent confusion
  • FINALLY ADDED DIALOGUE!! (Thank God, my eyes needed more than just bars and labels)

  • P3 and P4 options have been added in menu (4 player multiplayer hasn't been implemented yet, so they just respawn P2 for now)
  • Added glued blocks that lower the Player's agility!

    Looking good so far. Are you deliberately targeting 30FPS? I think this would benefit hugely from running at 60FPS using the _update60() method.

    @timeandspace I have made a 60fps version! However, I will be sticking with 30fps as the NerdyTeachers Platformer Engine starts to break with 60fps. Either way, here is the link! https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=46179

    Sometimes it's hard to shoot those jewels, @Lykaw, even if you are right up against them. Suggest jewels be grabbed by player proximity, not bullets.

    @dw817 I see what you mean; even I have trouble collecting the ̶j̶e̶w̶e̶l̶s coins. I'll be working on that part.
