This is a demoscene i have been doing, i started doing demoscene 3 months ago. (:
I named it pythagoras because of the triangle rectangle, this is my second demoscene btw.

Sandboxed carts can't kill their own processes. That is, code like the following doesn't work:
send_message(2, { event = "kill_process", proc_id = my_other_pid }) |
Presumably this is because sandboxed processes are (understandably) not allowed to send messages to pm.
This is a problem for things like multi-window carts, or carts that need a worker process (they need to be able to terminate a potentially unresponsive child process, especially on exit).
Example can once again be seen in Window Pong. Focus the scoreboard window at the top and press Q. It should close all the windows but only closes itself.
Additionally, it seems that sandboxed processes can't send messages to each other if they're from the same cart but not parented to each other. So if you launch the cart twice from filenav, the two processes can't communicate.

Ok, hear me out. What if there were a Picotron edition on the web? But unlike Pico-8-Edu, it would not be freely available (maybe there could be a demo version). It would work like this: you buy Picotron, and then you would be granted access to Picotron Web. If you do not own Picotron, you would get some sort of demo version similar to Pico-8-Edu.
How long can you balance a broom on its end?
I recommend playing with a mouse (or touchscreen), but the arrow keys also work.
This is my entry for the PICO-1k Jam 2026! I made it in about 2 hours and it takes up only 974 compressed bytes. I'm pretty proud of it all things considered. Especially the fact I managed to sneak some music in there with some memory shenanigans. My personal best is 31 seconds.
