Inspired by LD50 (but I already entered another game for that).
As time goes on and the more you get hit, you can see less around you.
Shoot things to get some of your vision back.
L/R to rotate
X to shoot
Needs a fair bit more work:
- Different enemy types and movement patterns
- Probably a concept of waves or levels
- Some other bonuses?
- A more efficient way to draw the encroaching circle
Had an idea for a game last night. After some fun learning how to rotate things in 3d, here's where I'm up to.
I think it will involve maybe collecting things as you fall, maybe doing some stunts, and eventually pulling the parachute cord at the right time to avoid splatting on the ground too hard :)
Let me know if you have some ideas.
I decided a few hours ago that I would have a very last-minute go at writing something for Ludum Dare 48.
Here's my attempt: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/taaanks
Here's my entry for #B&W Jam.
I kind of ran out of time so it's a bit janky but perfectly playable.
There are mazes. 21 of them. There's a friendly narator to help you through it.
Simple. To start off with.
Enjoy ;)
If I'm in tab 0 and press ctrl-f to search for, say "world" because I want to change it to "universe", ctrl-g will help me find all the other instances of "world" in tab 0.
Then I switch to tab 1 and want to do the same thing.
I hit ctrl-g... nothing. I have to press ctrl-f and type my search again.
It would be great if ctrl-g remembered my search term even when I switch tabs :)
