basically minesweeper, but with a very pleasing visual style and ui, i love it!

this looks very cool, nice work! if possible you should change it so that when you start you always get a 0 tile, getting a single 1 due to bad luck isn't great. (the original does this, actually!) if you feel like diminishing the effects of bad luck, maybe having 3 restarts at death per board before you end up back at the first board would go well.

Hi @kreyk29.
I've never played Minesweeper before so I thought I would watch that video listed above. In it states that you can click on the numbers to reveal more area beyond.

This game is not doing so.

@kreyk29: Suppose you have located all the mines adjacent to a number. For example, here I have located both mines adjacent to the circled "2". So I can safely explore all of the tiles with white dots.

The Windows implementation of Minesweeper would allow me to click on the circled "2" and explore all those tiles as a single move. I think this is what @dw817 is requesting.
It would be nice if you made B O M B support this option, but it's just an ease of use thing. It doesn't reveal information that can't otherwise be found by turning over tiles one at a time. If the player has made a mistake in flagging mines and tries this option, the game should obediently turn over the mined tile and the player should lose a life.
Classic Minesweeper also sometimes creates annoying boards like the one below, where there's a 50% chance of either tile containing a mine, but no effort of logic can reveal which is which.

Your hint eyes are a nice addition, but often don't get placed where they affect the puzzle. Would you consider changing them so that instead, they reveal a 2 or 3 randomly chosen "safe" tiles? So, if I find an eye, I try to save it until I've got a few problem tiles like this, and use it to reveal them? That would make for a great improvement over the classic game.
Finally, I had this happen once. I've otherwise played several games to much higher levels, so this must have been some unfortunate random board layout causing it.

But good work making it to this point!
