(v02: bugfixes, 60fps)
(v03: smoother animations)
(v04: small gameplay tweaks)
I just got done with beating it and dude the creativity on display with preserving momentum and paths opening up is so much fun!
I wish I could make puzzly platformers but eh ;p
I do feel like some of the later levels are a bit tight I guess? with when you need to jump and not,
But man this doesn't really feel like a demo; This is very good let alone a cart!
Nice. Your game will run a lot smoother if you change the update() method to _update60() though. You might need to adjust your physics to compensate.
Wonderful game! Managed to finish the demo but it was quite a challenge. You have an interesting concept of "easy mode" :)
With the tight coordination required sometimes, this could become the new "Celeste".
Finished it! Great game, very challenging and engaging!
@timeandspace Updated the game to 60fps!
@Meep Thanks for letting me know, fixed
I would only like the collision on the "easy mode" boxes to be fixed. The black outline is hard to see and I get hurt 2 pixels away from it. Otherwise, perfect gravity and mechanics! Also how many tokens did you use? I have no clue how this is all just one cart!
pateski - i had been trying that but it wasnt working ... now ive come back and tried it again and it worked 3 times in a row ... have you done an update ?
sadly the rest of it is too hard for me , im not a fan of endlessly repeating jumps on the off chance you get lucky one time , and as it doesnt seem to autosave ive lost all the progress i made !
nice game but needs work
@Jerry_Boy Thank you! I don't think "easy mode" will be there in the full version, but if I keep it I will adjust the spikes.
This version of the game uses about 3500 tokens.
@bigjus Yes, I made a small change to the portal so you have a little more speed now when teleporting. The full version of the game will have a save system.
