Ok people, it drives me crazy, I am pretty sure there is a way to capture you level's game play as a gif.
But for the love of God I can't remember what the sort cuts are.
Please advice.

For me using the same buttons as Pico-8 works :

• press F8 to start recording a gif
• press F9 to stop recording
• the gif file is saved to the desktop

I have tried it on my Win 7 computer and it doesn't work. I think it's maybe OS related bug.

It works on Windows 8 and 10 if that helps.

Don't forget it doesn't work in the editors, only during gameplay. It would be really helpful for making tutorials if it worked in editor mode too (hint hint @zep :p)

Fwiw, you'll get much nicer looking gifs if you use something like LiceCap to capture it instead though.

I think I figure it out...
It was putting it in some weird place on my hard drive.

Is there is a way to change target directory?
