@dw817
yes :D I saw only a gif these days in the gif dump and in his version the pico-8 value of sin is returned which is inverted to fit the screens coordinate system.
I wanted to show the mathematical correct values matching the animated circle.

@Yesyoor Ya, I was using the default PICO-8 sin(), which is inverted due to PICO-8's y+ being down, so you're totally right that my gif wasn't showing true sin() values. (Just as sin() doesn't traditionally take 0..1 as an input value.) Nice work on making it interactive! Makes it fun to play with. :D

@dw817 Calling them out like that, as if you "caught" them or some such thing, was uncalled for. I don't need, nor do I want, credit for visualizing math, and I'm certainly not the first person to do such a visualization, even in the form I posted the other day.

I wrote above inspiration will move mountains. Yesyoor wrote above mentioning the source.

I apologize @MBoffin for writing what I did ... For I need to add more. It was actual superb coding on the part of @Yesyoor to decipher your graphic. I would not have had that ability.

I would also like to sincerely apologize for posting an image of yours in comparison without your permission and hope you will forgive me for that.

@dw817 ah it is all good I think your post was justified and I am happy you pointed it out! I should have looked closer on who posted the gif and mention him myself anywas and as said I am also happy to have found you since I got really inspired by your magic fireball too ;)

@MBoffin Thanks! Same to you, I really like the animation and adapted totally to your design. Yours has even more swing to it with the triangles showing the current value :) I made it controlable to check out at what values the graphs cross and I still wonder if those to points hide any hidden info about something :D
