Celeste 2: Madeline's Return - A Celeste Classic 2 Mod
Celeste 2, but with Madeline...
For my first PICO-8 project, I decided to put Madeline into Celeste Classic 2.

1.1 Changes
- Berry pickup refreshes dash
- Chest only opens once

Very fun gimmick that worked surprisingly well!
The end was pretty easy likely due to the abundance of hooks/balloons but before served a little bit of a challenge.
I think the physics are a bit off but without the super far long jump I'm not sure if it would have been possible to beat anyway.

*Some feedbacks:
- Walljumps are a bit speedy.
In Celeste 1, the horizontal boost given after a single walljump is slightly lower than Celeste 2.
2.BGM changes in level 3 after obtaining double dash.
After getting the chest in level 3, the background music changed as the "between getting grapple and level 1" one.
3.Berry gains only 1 dash instead of full 2 dashes in level 3.
In Celeste 1, if got the double dash, berries can regain dashes to two regardless of having 0 or 1 dashes. (or graphically, from blue hair straightly to green)
4.Balloons can be crashed with a full dash state.
In the gameplay, you can still (accidentally) crash up bballoon having max amount of dashes in current level, which won't happen in Celeste 1.

For no reason at all i want to make a mod of this where madeline has infinite dashes
