It was still using #include in the exported cart (I thought it said it flattened it). All fixed up!

Geez, this is super impressive! A bit hard, but I got through button mashing a bit :D

Is this all on one cart? It plays online so it has to be, right?

Also, the tiny mashup names and sprites are very fun. :)

Alamantus (cool name), thanks for playing! I admit it is a bit difficult. The AI lacks finesse. Thankfully, I took the plunge to integrate the ultra moves, which (I personally feel) make this game an enjoyable challenge ^^

Unless you're really comfy with keyboard controls (which I am not...) you really need a controller for this one.

Yes, it's just one cart. It was a personal challenge to get it to fit in a single cart.

Really impressive! Its hard af though haha. I've only been able to win once. A challenge is good though, keeps you coming back. I've never tried using a controller with pico-8 before, but I tried with this cart. I don't know if it is just my setup, but using an xbox360 controller on a mac it reads the left stick as you'd expect, but the 2 buttons are mapped to the dpad. All controller buttons (a,b,x,y) just open the menu (equivalent to keyboard enter).

UPDATE: Nevermind its just in the html version, works fine in native pico-8. I found this behavior is documented I just hadn't seen, my bad.

Hey bitwitch, thanks for playing! Yeah, I can't get my USB NES controller working properly in the HTML version either (even though it maps correctly here https://gamepad-tester.com/) - JoyToKey didn't even work (!?)
