I think it should have had tornadoes, trailers, lawnmowers, and other debris flying around instead of just angry drunks(?) :-D
@ultrabrite yes, it's definitely supposed to be disturbing with a slight political critique. it's definitely a plus if it leaves a bad taste in the mouth :)
@geistvonpa that's a really cool feedback, thanks! this was my first try with programming, so I tried to keep things simple and finish on time (it was a university assignment). but I would love to add more craziness, different levels, more animations and stuff.
I like the sprites.
Movement is very slippery, though. It looks like there's a bug.. if you press up/down without releasing left/right (or vice-versa), then you'll move diagonally even after you've released the other axis.
To fix that, you could store 2 variables for your button presses, one for x-axis and one for the y-axis.x
