This was a game I made for 'Winter Jam 2020', an internal game jam at my job, which finished mid-December 2020.

The theme was 'A Close Shave'.

The game was a hit, and everyone enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun making this.

Update, over a year later.

Addressed some feedback around message speed by upping the default speed, adding message speed selection at start screen as well as pause screen, and made the dialogue box larger.

Loose pieces of hair fall when shaven off with the buzzer.

Changed the title screen.

What a fun game! The text is a little slow, so a skip functionality might help but overall a great little game!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback.

Agree with Bluish-Red, the text is slow for my taste.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game! I liked interpreting the requests, especially the semi-vague ones. Good dialogue, which made the customers feel like they had some personality.

Not much replay value in it's current state, but it would be cool to see more beard/hair styling options. Well done!

This was a good laugh and good fun. Would love to see some really bad shave options: like an angry customer after you’ve boldly shaved off his hair or eyebrows!

This is pretty good, @purdy. I'd like to see some options making it harder, like if you shave over a sensitive part, ear, eye, mouth, then the customer could shake, play a negative tone, and give a frown. Cut them 3x and they are out of the chair with no pay.

An option to make it easier might be the customer smiles and says, "That's the way." if you are starting to do it correctly and, "Are you sure you know what you're doing ?" when you start to mess up.
