Really good mod, I like both Celeste and Hollow Knight and it was fun to see them merged. The nail bounces and mothwing cloak made for some unique levels that were a blast to play through. My only complaint is that the secret boss wasn't intuitive, and I struggled to figure out what I was supposed to do, additionally the cutscene playing everytime I died to it made the fight extremely annoying.

Also, what do the numbers mean?

Really fun game! Never played Hollow Knight so I am missing some of the context for the source material, but this is a ton of fun! Only complaint is that the boss was egregiously difficult for me lmao, feel like I spent half of my play time trying to beat him. Still, great job!

I had some fun on the early levels, but something about the three buttons once I got the dash move broke me. It's not just that I had trouble dashing, I suddenly lost track of which key was jump and which was sword, despite Celeste always using Z for jump! I'm sure you could learn something interesting about my neurons from that.

Anyway, I got to the level title "Ancient Depths," but I just can't get through here. I think I can see how I'm meant to do it, it's just I have too low a chance of getting through each stage of this level. Well done to all the players who got through here and went on to complete the game.

how the fickle tee do i get the grub down the tunnel of spikes in level long fall??

@ScyChris you can't go down the tunnel of spikes, you'll have to go down another way.

it's a really cool concept though! jumping off spikes was one of my favourite things to do in hollow knight and i really love seeing it explored more here
keeping track of all three buttons is really hard tho ;w; but cool mod nonetheless!!! :D

@koala56 How do i beat the grub avenger boss, i don't understand, i tried surviving for a while, and killing the grubs but it didn't work.

@Beangaming The game doesn't make it obvious but the grub avenger has 10hp and is defeated after hitting him that many times with the nail.

Important note, after you kill him you have to exit to the right, but most of his hitbox is still there so you have to stand on the lip of the entrance and dash off the screen.
