This summer I just started to make pico8 games and this is my first one.
It came out as a mix of Doom and the Virtuous Vanquisher Of Evil

Very cool. The music is good and the gameplay is challenging.
Sometimes I felt like my bullets were passing through the edges of the enemies, which got a little frustrating at times. It made me wish the hitbox was one pixel wider, but that might make it too easy. It would also be nice if the gate to the next level appeared where the last enemy died.
