This is a simple audiovisual sleep aid I created for the PICO-8. It features relaxing sounds of rain and soft thunder and the calm sight of a dark window on a rainy night. Enjoy!

NP. I guess we both thought recording a "splash" in the 8x8 was pretty good. You know since you are animating the rain for the window, you could use this method of palette swapping.

In animating at no point do I plot any more pixels, it is merely the swap of the palette.

Let me think, for what you are doing here, it could all be done with one sprite ...

oooh very neat. the thunder was done really well. i wish the rain was quieter compared to the thunder tho. super cool

I did another subtle adjustment, just because. I hope you don't mind. I love the work both of you did and just wanted to tweak a few things.

I made the rain a little lighter, and each droplet travels across the window for a few frames. I also sped up the cat's tail and made it wave properly (from base-to-tip), and brought the thunder volume up a tiny bit.
