This is the first project I have made in pico-8. It was meant to help me get to learn this programing language and learn its limitations.
This is simple but actually really good. Needs a lot more polish, but I can't wait to see what else you come up with @JustaGameDev
print("wave "..game.wave) that puts a space in between the words. Maybe try adding some screen shake though, other than that it's nice.
Looking at this originally, @JustaGameDev, I thought this was just another cookie cutter topview shooter from the tutorial.
But nope ! You've got something quite good and original here.
I'm gonna adjust the shooter slightly if that's okay so there is no hiccup when you hit the button to begin with. There.
