I did not look through everything but to me it seemed like there was a... difference between "flappy birds like games" and this one, the way the bird reacts tto the input, allow me to explain:
in this version, when the up button is pressed, the bird will have it's vertical downwards speed (dy) reduced, while I think in other games of that style, it would be rather set to a specific value like -2 for exemple, currently we need to compensate for the current bird vertical speed (if it is too big, a single press won't be enough, it it is too low, another press will make you fly to the ceiling), which can be difficult (but to be honest there are not a lot of obstacles so that may be a feature).
other than that it plays well, it works fine from what I saw, so that's ok in my books ^^.
PS: actually the way the walls are handled could make for a very nice shmup I think.
