Proposing a DKC inspired cart, based mainly on the funner parts that DKC is known for. Priorities: Barrel Cannon sequences/mazes, mine cart levels, rocket barrel levels, maybe bird buddy / flying or fish buddy / swimming stages... and then maybe after all that, if there's space left... we can squeeze in some platforming.
It could be my tired, overworked, sleep deprived delirium talking... but part of me wants to make all of the objects in this game look like dicks.
I shouldn't dev while I'm this wiped.
But the idea of the priorities is to keep it simple to make and play; do the fun things unique to DKC most; and get the most mileage out of the fewest objects/assets. Like birds and bees could be half the game already.
