Working on a puzzle game about a dip with a weird name
I'm currently working on a new game inspired by some shitty mobile game sliding block puzzles. This is a game that I have wanted to will into existence out of the frustration that there aren't many games out there like this without terrible monetisation.
There are ~30 levels atm, with a spread of difficulty, there is an option to skip in the menu if needed! I'm testing out a mechanic for garlic, which only moves when next to an olive but I'm worried it doesn't translate too well, so if you play the last few levels lmk how it is :)
So yeah, enjoy! (or don't)

Also please comment what you think as I'm trying to improve at pico-8, game dev and level design! This is my first foray into puzzle design and some of these I admit are not my best. Engineering puzzles is pretty hard, so please don't get frustrated if you get stuck! This is very very very unfinished !!!!!

A splash of edgy bubbles on a bed of groovy patterns and a rhythmic wobble to the loveliest music. Top it off with a dash of zesty move blips for a savoury jolt on the win. This salad is made by a star Pico-chef!
And I did it!
I'm not a fervent puzzler so this was really challenging, I was afraid I wasn't gonna make it but I did and that feels really good. The garlic seemed like a good amount of late game threat. I skipped 0 levels and the music kept me calm and focussed. Really nice work!
