For those of you who dont know who I am, well check my maps :) I am a very old voxatron editor and I will make another huge map ! I have fully of free time and imagination.

Here are some of my ideas tell me what you'd like to see ( you too zep ).

  • lucid dreams( you are a guy having weird dreams )
  • the last unicorn( hunting the last unicorn Alive )
    -alone in the wild( you vs the wild )
  • hells revenge.( a sequel to my heaven vs. Hell )

All of those are ideas that will contains 100+ levels ! And all custom monsters! I have trained with the new editor and I am ready to build ;)

I have recently found a bug in the editor that is corrupting my save files, My recent level, "Starship Combat" has fallen victim to it. zep said he was working on it, but I do not know the current status of if the bug is fixed or not. Be careful, for I don't know when it strikes, but it does happen to big levels, so I know.

I always keep a save backup I hope your level will recover buddy !

Even with backups, different computers and different levels it still seems to affect my saves. I am just waiting on zep to find out the bug before I let out another modification for my level.

EDIT: Scratch that, just try not to make any big animations and put them in a folder, I think that was one of the reasons for the bug... I'm doing my best to help zep.

Rock on, welcome back for reals!

The last unicorn sounds interesting, and a nice change of pace from typical Voxatron levels. Make sure to check out the "Road to 0.3" thread to get an idea of the features you'll be able to use. Most of them will be available in 0.2.10

I posted about it in the Star Combat thread, but just a quick update on the bug -- it's fixed now for 0.2.10 and RC is exactly right, the workaround is to avoid large animations (e.g. not more than 100 million voxels total).
