Recently I noticed that a certain item that I placed as a prop is not really supposed to be so, but I place lots of them and when I try simply to change the type of the object the game actes like the id doesn't exists, I mean, it doesn't exists as a prop but as a monster or an animation is there, I wish to know how could I make the replacement without having to place all those objects again.

I need to do so for various reasons, like the mob placement (it differs from the prop placement wich is side to side) and how it can react.

please help me here, I thank you in anticipation

There's a console tool for this purpose, but it's not very tested -- backup first and use with caution! Press escape for console and type "replace x y", where x is the id of the object you want to replace, and y is the one you want to replace it with.

To find the id for each object, edit them and look for "editing prop #1234" the top right.

Thanks I shall be testing this soon

No matter what I do it only gives me "replaced 0"

Do you have the format right? The two numbers should be separated by one space each. For example, to replace all objects of id 3 with id 4:

replace 3 4

If it still doesn't work, feel free to send me a copy to see what's going on ([email protected])
