Sorry, I guess? is a

file flooder.

And as usual, it needs to be executed in the app, otherwise it just displays Sorry, I guess?
This is because it uses ls().
It is my biggest cart ever with,

Drumroll please...

32875 characters

158% compressed size(almost).

10 file version:

Cart #flood_1-0 | 2022-11-12 | Code ▽ | Embed ▽ | License: CC4-BY-NC-SA

64 file version:

Cart #flood-0 | 2022-11-11 | Code ▽ | Embed ▽ | License: CC4-BY-NC-SA

Sorry for any damage.
It is harmless and can be removed.

Btw, any way to make more efficient?

Alright, @Guest122.

I would definitely call that virus behavior.

You should state what it does before people run it.

Wow. I just had this told to me a couple of days ago. However I definitely didn't just save random files to try and fill up your HD and confuse users in the process.

You are very lucky ZEP is counting the number of files created by a single P8 cart instead of letting you fill up someone's HD, locking the computer as it tries to keep up and forcing a reboot of your computer.

. . .

Nonetheless you found a security flaw in Pico-8, and @zep should really know about it. Maybe limiting up to 8 the number of files you can create. A check could be made before a P8L file is saved and if there are already 8 of these P8L files already in your HD in the directory you are currently in, stop, say you have too many. He's sorta doing these here but limiting it to 64 which is a pretty high number.

PEOPLE, running this program in immediate mode will create 64 randomly named files with digits on your HD.

@dw817 It isn't a virus as it doesn't spread and copy itself to other hosts or files, but you're right. Maybe just saying that it is a flooder isn't enough. And if zep wouldn't have placed a limit, I would've as I am not here to cause harm to anyone or their systems.
