Behind the Scenes

Made in about ~40 hours because I was incredibly late to the agbic cover submission deadline . Inspired by the wonderful art by Tom Brinton

Date & Time ! Hmm ! Most interesting ... Let's see ... Oh, you can create daily events, @LouieChapm. Solely uses the joystick (keyboard), no mouse. That in itself gets you a solid gold star from me.

I do see a problem. You might have the cursor visually flip over vertically when you click on the letter button ABOVE the letter. The cursor covers the viewing area so you sort of have to guess what the letter will be.

Other than that I'm not seeing too much amiss here. If it's to be a serious clockminder I would add an alarm that can go off at certain times per day per calendar day.

Decide daily, weekdays, weekends, or any of Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun. JFMAMJJASOND.

An option to bypass the "system check." Also consider adding 2-more system checks.

Thanks for playing @dw817 ! I am grateful that you appreciated just the default pico controls because I lot of people said there should qwerty options- but I decided against it .

That's a good point for repeating notifications ! I was considering it- but in order to have 10 events that save in persistent data I needed the data from an event to be incredibly small , and struggled to find the space :(

The letter-wheel and cursor thing is annoying , but I couldn't find a solution I liked better :'(

Thanks for the detailed response <3

Hi @LouieChapm. You have 12288-bytes of data you can load and save externally. I proved this in the following cart:

Thanks for the reply @dw817 that's so fascinating ! I'll have to look over that , I could certainly do with about 3x as much memory haha . Thank you for sharing that with me <3

UBetcha, @LouieChapm ! I'm most interested to see this particular cart grow in function and ability. I may wind up using it myself.
