Thanks! Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't think to check my threads until now lol

Wow, this wins the award for best pico8 song i've ever heard!

Thanks! That was written by my friend Liz, you can check out more of her music here

Wow, she has some really lovely stuff. I could sit and program to this for hours.

Does she plan to go into games, or is it just a coincidence of acquaintance that got her music in your game? Her bio is light on these details.

Wow, her stuff is amazing, thanks for the link! These are some seriously moving works! And she studied/is studying under Jim Anderson? That's awesome!

Also, sorry I didn't mention it but I think you game is cool too. Obviously, it's very simple, but you took a good deal of care to get things just right. Especially the screenshake/pause when hitting the ball, makes it feel weighty and good! I wasn't able to have max fun with it cause I don't have any friends, but it seems cool!

Just wow, the song Daylight v2 by her is so good I had to come back here and comment about it. Sorry, know that this is off topic, but WOW!

She does want to go into games, as well as film. She wrote this song in five minutes after watching me struggle with my own music--she sent me a piano MIDI and I arranged it in PICO.

I showed her the conversation here and she's flattered. She'd love to do some work for any games the two of you might have!

Thanks for the comment on the gameplay too--this prototype was all about creating game feel. It was my first real project in this platform, so I wanted to see what it was capable of. I also have no friends, so your experience with the game was pretty much identical to mine while I was developing it lol

I might just take her up on that because music for me goes hand in hand, if not above and beyond, in game creation for me. I solidly believe music provides an unparalleled experience in gaming in terms of atmosphere and emotional evocation.
