Spook and thunder is a top down shooter with an creepy and ambient atmosphere.

-Arrow keys for movement
-X to shoot
-Hold and release X to throw a granade
-C to dash

I do miss some music... A spooky three-channel score in the background would be great.

I decided against music in the normal game, because it comes in the way of all the other soundeffects and I really wanted the focus on the environmental feeling.

When you fight the boss, I had to ignore some regular soundeffects, so you can even hear the boss music.

Wow, really good. Feels like it's got both breadth and depth, as far as playstyle goes.

I think it's fine without music. If it had any, I wouldn't want anything beyond something very subtle and ambient. In fact, non-musical ambient sound, like the simple white noise rain sound you have going up top, is probably the best call.
