Love the idea ! I was having fun at the beginning but gave up at level 25 because it's too repetitive. Needs more enemies and also more items to buy, otherwise there is no reason to pick up gold or go to the store once you've chosen your favorite equipment.

@~firefly~ : if you are interest about score, gold is important. The idea was to loose ability when you pick gold, in relation to the ludum dare theme. Maybe I have to force player to take gold...

Love it! The way turns work is cool; it forces you to think about how the enemy will act when they get their turn. With a few more items / enemies / levels I could spend a lot of time playing this!

So you mean, there's no end, just a best score ? Ok.
How about (just a suggestion) drop points where you can drop all your gold for score ? Like, 1 every 10 levels or something. This would induce more variety in player's choice imo.
