W H O A H ! Yep, I get the same thing in Windows 8.1 here, 64-bit. Same PICO version.

Definitely crashes. Glad it doesn't do that during code entry !

Might add PGUP, PGDN, HOME, and END for the SPLORE too while this repair is being made.

UPDATE:

Oh, BTW, you may or may not know this, guys. Instead of manually downloading each select cart from the BBS in case you want to edit the cart or just play it without the nagging Internet lag, you can bring up PICO, the SPLORE at any time with "S" from the file menu.

Use the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to navigate. Go to NEW, make sure the icon looks like a 2-leafed GREEN plant. Press UP and select [UPDATE] with "Z."

Then press DOWN to select the game you want to play or edit. Found it ? Press "Z" to Run it. Now to see the source code and/or make adjustments, Hit [ESC], choose EXIT TO SPLORE, hit "Z" to select.

Once back in SPLORE press [ESC] TWICE right then and there !

You'll see you have loaded the source of the last game you played and you can fidget with it or press CTRL-R from there to run it again.

You will have exited SPLORE so to bring that back up, once again in the FILE MENU, press "S" and ENTER, and choose a different game - and go from there.

Hope This Helps !
