Hello,

I would like to ask for help on how to release a cart properly.

I've made three.

• The first: Included in a post, became a Cartridge in about an hour, I deleted it, and reuploaded as a WIP (checks out)
• The second: I included it in a new post as a Cartridge, but it's not shown anywhere.
• A Third: Uploaded via the Submit button, not shown as well.

I've followed the How to upload Pico-8 games tutorial on the resources page. Yet my own releases page remains empty.

I have three questions:

• How do I release a WIP as a finished Cartridge?
• How do I release a new Cartridge, such that it finds its way into the Carts section?
• Can users get listed for making their first game too gorpy?

I would love to know more!

I don't know how or why, but it looks like your other two carts (the engine one and the cub one) are not categorized under PICO-8, just under the BBS generally, which I think would be why they don't show up in the cart list or Splore. You'll probably have to recreate those posts under PICO-8 for them to show up.

When I looked at your post, I saw that the category was blog.

On the edit screen for the post that contains your completed cart, change the category to blog and select Pico-8: Cartridges.
This is the post category for the completed cart.

It worked! So the category setting for a cart resides in the post settings [Edit button] that the cart lives in, and not the actual cart settings [also Edit button].

BBS > Blog is now BBS > PICO-8 > Cartridges
