It is my first SHMUP WIP demo.
- x: Normal shot (4 steps power up)
- y: Missiles
- P mark: Power up
- M mark: Missile supply
- You get bonus scores by continuing to get P and M marks without getting any damages.
- Getting damaged, you lost a power-up.

Understanding this is a WIP, I enjoyed it but found the first level quite repetitive… particularly since the background remains unchanged.
I also found the amount of lives to be too generous; it basically felt like ramming into things has no consequence.
Nice technical demo, of course. Needs some balancing. But a good directional game.



The game has beautiful graphics, but the second level feels a bit too difficult.

I'll also make background objects (ex., Energy tanks etc.) at the 1st level.
I want players to enjoy destroying enemies, so I may set a penalty that only results in players losing their score.

The current 2nd stage is a test for background enemies! Try to destroy them all!



Got around 3.6 million? Im not sure Would have love to see the final score on the last screen. That way I could post it here or share it around.
Had a lovely time playing it. For a 8x8 style, this is really really well done, but I was already aware of that since I had been keeping up with your development on Twitter/X. Good to see you got a demo out.
I think that stage 1 might be slightly too long, but it was fine for me overall. Second stage does ramp up, but the game is pretty forgiving with the HP/Powerup system, so I still managed to beat it. Formations are fun and the sense of movement is there. Also great great menu art.
I do feel the missiles were a little tough to understand. Im not sure when I can fire them, or if there is a delay of some kind... but they did help with the bosses!



Just gotta say I absolutely love the presentation / visuals of this game. Nicely done!

Missiles can do more damage than normal shots. So I expect to use them when you need more shots and more damage.
